I recommend to stay here if you prefer quiet environment. It's close to the local fabric shops; even though, not close to the big shopping mall. Also, easy to get public transportation.

Accord is acclaimed as a five star hotel. I would give it only a 4 star rating due to the staff performance. I did like the room and food but i was very disappointed seeing the staff english standard and there attitude. I am saying this because during my time in Chennai i did visit the other 5 star hotel and was stunned by the staff performance and the standard they hold example ITC Grand, Taj Coramental, Hillton. But i have to say the breakfast was excellent and the food in general was very high standard.
