Modern, comfortable, light and airy

It was a good stay. Our studio unit was spacious compared to our family's one bedroom unit. Airconditioning would improve the comfort of the units considerably as we slept with our balcony doors open but were then subject to city noise .

beautiful hotel however wifi is at extra costs

clean and big room, many tv chanels and by fa the best staff ive ever had at any hotel

it was great! the only thing we didntenjoy was that we had to pay for wifi each day and it wasnt even working that great! apart from that it was a fantastic hotel and would definitely stay again!

Nice comfortable but slightly overpriced hotel

Nice enough hotel except for the early morning fire alarms! Asked for high room so as not to be by car park but was instead very very close to the apartments next door meaning that blinds were shut most of the time.

Great Apartment hotel in the heart of the city

Stayed here twice, will happily stay again. Apartment hotels make multi-day stays more comfortable and this one is in a great location. Loads of restaurants and some superb cafes scattered in the immediate vicinity.

Nice hotel with a lot of room

I stayed at the Distinction hotel in Wellington for 2 nights on business and was quite pleased. The hotel is centrally located and is only a short stroll from the harbour and surrounding cafes. The room was spacious and the best thing is that all the rooms comes with a full kitchenette and laundry which means you can cook your own food and wash your own clothes if you want to (not that I needed to). I stayed in the one bedroom apartment, which has a separate bedroom and living room area, so for one person or a couple there is plenty of room to spread out. I think all the rooms have a balcony which is great as you can go outside and enjoy the fresh air in the mornings. I also noticed that the washing machine came with washing detergent which is convenient also. The staff were very friendly (but then most of the people in New Zealand are pretty friendly too). The only thing I wasn't impressed by is the internet connection speed. Even though the internet was very cheap, the speed was quite slow which is frustrating when you're trying to do work. Aside from that it was a very pleasant stay.
Informacje na temat zwiedzania: Take a stroll around the harbour. On a nice day (which I hear is rare in Wellington) it's very beautiful.

A great place to stay in the heart of Wellington

Hotel is easy to find and only 20mins by bus from the airport. Requested an early check-in and happily we arrived at 9am and were able to go to our room directly. The studio apartment was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Had a balcony view and able to see part of Lambton Quay. Kitchen facilities in room also handy as well as a nicely done bathroom. Room came with free access to hotel wifi for two devices over a 48-hour period. Opposite hotel, $ overnight parking available from 7pm to 8am. Very handy as Distinction's is $ a night.
Informacje na temat życia nocnego: So many cafes and pubs just minutes walk from Distinction Hotel. Tasting Room, The Library Bar and Sweet Mother's Kitchen on Courtenay Place. The Matterhorn and Florida's on Cuba Street. A 15min drive to Lyall Bay also brings you to the famous weekend brunch at Maranui Surf Club.

The best apartment style accommodation we have stayed in central Wellington. Full kitchen facility, perfect location, we enjoyed staying in the rooms on Tory Street side
