“Second time stay and we were still satisfied”
We decided to stay at this hotel again after 1.5 month of traveling and back to BKK again. We were satisfied for what we got from the hotel, it fit what we spent. If you are expecting for fully luxurious service kind of 5-star hotel with every small single attention to detail, this is not the one for you, but if you only require a comfortable room with all basic amenities, bathroom with a separate bathtub, working corner and little sofa at reasonable price (approx 80EUR/night) to comfort yourself after a hot busy day in BKK, then AETAS fits you. The location is TOP! As it’s opposite to the newest shopping mall in BKK called ONE Bangkok, where you can cross the big road from the Lumpini MRT Metro station (2 mins walk from the hotel) the metro also links you to chinatown , old town area of BKK as well as to other CBD area like Sukhumvit area, and even to Chatuchak weekend Market. I also used free shuttle bus of the shopping mall (ONE Bangkok) opposite to AETAS for getting to BTS Skytrain (Ploenchit station) to explore the city and more high-end shopping malls+restaurants in the area. The bed in the room was not that soft though, but fine for sleeping For the first stay , we were not impressed that much, but we ignored some flaws in room and unprofessional staff at reception. However, as soon as we arrived for our second stay, one of the staffs at reception recognized us and treated us quite well during our stay. He was helpful, and we got the room on the high floor. The other part i like about this hotel is that they use quality brand for the free minibar in the room (Milk, Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Coke, Sprite, drinking water, Twining Tea,) Based on the price and location, If the room price maintains the same, i would definitely choose this hotel again. Otherwise, there are plenty of options around.
