While visiting Al Ain for my wife's birthday, we were charmed by this very well located hotel and its attentive and competent staff. We were offered accommodation more suited to the size of our family, and the staff had the thoughtfulness to leave a birthday cake. This will be our stopover for a next night in Al Ain.

Although, booked the premium suite and it was very expensive for what you get... can't imagine regular rooms would offer you much less other than a little less space for a fraction of the price. Would have hoped for something a little more special in the room for that money.

Booked pool view w balcony... Didn't know half the hotel is under construction. So they "upgraded" me to a remodeled room with nice furniture but small and zero view. I wanted the view. I commented and they moved me to a "view" the next day. But the view was far away and wasn't good. They would not let me check out late despite the extra time needed to deal w all this. Staff was nice but not very accommodating. I would wait 6-12inths until all the remodeling is done before staying again. They don't have enough rooms. It seems like the place was totally empty! I was the only person at the pool. And hardly any people around.

Christmas 2020”
For Christmas, got a 2 bedroom chalet at the Rotana, Al Ain. While the Rotana as a whole is nice, we weren’t all that impressed. The spa, gym, restaurants and pool were nice, but the chalet was not so much. Tea kettle smelled like someone boiled milk in it, screen door was broken, it was dimly lit, with an outdated kitchen and bath. Bathtubs still had hair from the previous occupant and the bathroom ceiling was rusted and countertops looks like there burn marks. Kitchen showed water damaged cabinets with a seriously stained countertop and cooker. So while it was a ok place, we won’t be coming back.

When I book this hotel, on my receipt I didn't find anywhere that I need to deposit 500dhs in their reception. I didn't carry cash and receptionist didn't let me check - in, despite knowing that my booking is non refundable and I will. Loose the money for booking and they were so rude. No where mentioned and no law is asking you to get deposit if it is ur self made policy then you must have write in ur receipt or notify while booking however after wasting my one hour with arguements finally I check in and suggest not to book this hotel as it doesn't deserve to be a five star hotel.

They fixed the toilet while we are already inside the villa. Maintenance staff is literally there almost the whole night. Stay in a cheaper hotel so you will not regret.
