Where to stay in Balvanera
Balvanera hotels & accommodations

We stayed 3 separate times as we passed through Buenos Airies. Rooms varied in size, with 2 including tea making facilities. All were clean and with air conditioning. Elevator is tiny - barely enough room for 2 people with suitcases. Service we found exceptional - and good English. They ensured our requirements were met. We had several airport transfers, all arranged b...

the hotel is good for a short stay. clean, and the wifi was good and free service. the location is close to the subway, but the neighborhood is not good for night activities. the staff was very helpful, and they spoke good english. breakfast was very basic, with rolls, fruits, coffee, and scramble eggs, and cold cuts and cheese. enough to get you going for the day.

This is possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. At check in, they told me they needed to take a copy of my passport (normal in most hotels). But they didn't have a photocopier, so insisted that I go find a shop a few blocks away and that I would have to pay for the copy. So unprofessional. Fabian the owner was super-helpful to us which made our stay memorable. It's an old building artistically restored with great decor. Tango lessons from Fabian are available. Within easy reach of the Subte metro system. There are some shops nearby and plenty on a main road 5 to 10 minutes walk away.
