The breakfast was lovely and staff very cordial and extremely helpful. Shaun and Jasmine were outstanding. An memorable trip..

We stayed at Langley view Guest house Thursday 24th October. We researched properties in the Area first through various booking sites. This Guest house was reviewed highly and it is very close to the centre of Things in Bowness. Close to the Angel Inn and Roundabout so it’s really good to get around from here. Very friendly couple running Langley View, nice warm welcom...

It was raining and cold (in June) when we arrived but we had a warm welcome from Sue our host. Room was small but clean and bright. Location was good as only 10 mins walk to Bowness lakeside for the cruises and about 20 mins walk to Windermere town centre. We just parked our car and walked. Breakfast was cooked and very nice. Fully recommend this establishment.

The place is run by a sweet English couple. They look after you really well. The breakfast was great. The location is bang opposite the Windermere lake. Only thing is this time , they had an emergency and could not extend our check out time. We had to leave luggage at Station and pay them. All else was good.

Nice little Inn strategically located just a few minutes walk from Lake Windermere. Lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby. The Inn's management and staff are friendly and hospitable. The food especially the lamb shank was excellent. Would recommend this Inn any time.

I was sceptical about coming after the reviews I read, I was actually dreading it. Me and my partner didn't find it that bad at all! Yeah it needs a bit of work doing to it, but did the purpose for our visit. Location is brilliant. I guess you get what you pay for where you are staying it's a good price. The other hotels where 200 plus.

Room advertised as superking or twin. Booked as a twin but left as a superking as no longer offering the room as a twin. Not a problem though as the bed was well big enough to not encroach on the other occupant. Hanging rail only for clothes - could have done with a wardrobe but had plenty of drawers.

Fantastic little hotel right in the centre of the town of Bowness. Easy access to all the restaurants, bars and shops in the town centre, all within a very short walking distance. Lake Windermere also a short walk. The room we stayed in was lovely, beautifully decorated with an antique 4 poster bed and with a little table and chairs by the window where we spent an hou...
