I had the great pleasure of staying at the Lalit for two nights in June. It actually was my 5th time staying there. The location in central Delhi is very convenient, the rooms are extremely attractive and comfortable (the beds are HEAVENLY!), the food is excellent, (especially the awesome breakfast) and the service is outstanding. While all of the members of the staff were helpful, and genuinely friendly, I would like to give my special thanks to Mr. Abishake Jhamb, Concierge Manager, and Mr. Vivek Shukla, General Manager for going out of their way to make sure I was well looked after, and that I truly felt that the Lalit was my home away from home. Thank you both! I'll see you again the next time I'm in Delhi.

Staying in this hotel is always a pleasure, the location is good for central Delhi, and the rooms are clean and spacious. I have stayed in various hotels in Delhi this one has some excellently trained and helpful staff. The only downside would be the fact that there's only one restaurant, although the food is varied and quite tasty, the restaurant staff are quite slow especially if your table doesn't have any one loud or shouty, so clear your throat, as quiet tables are ignored.

The Claridges is an upmarket hotel, an oasis in Delhi, but probably best suited to an older more mature guest. We found it very hard to find good quality and reasonable accommodation in Delhi, so we had to up our spend to get the quality we required. The hotel is well cared for, the staff extremely polite (perhaps too much (meaning there's little space for character to shine)), the pool is very good and the breakfast particularly impressive. After 18 days in India we were able to enjoy foods we hadn't found (or couldn't safely eat in that time). Phone calls (to local numbers from room) are very expensive. Disappointed that internet wasn't complementary. I took pleasure in arriving to a hotel like this in a lowly tuk-tuk but they wouldn't allow the tuk-tuk in the front gates.

The Leela Palace maintains it's number one status in New Delhi for a reason. From the time that you enter into the hotel, until you leave you are treated exquisitely. While there is much that has already been said about the hotel, I would like to mention just a few of my favorite things that the hotel offers. First: do take advantage of the pool. You are greeted there with refreshments, magazines, towels, and a lovely pool. Second: The gym is lovely. There is a perfect amount of workout equipment up to the very highest standards. Third: Take advantage of the Leela's pillow selection, try a few out. Fourth: the bath is divine. Relax while listening to your favorite music or watching television on the flat screen tv in front of you. Finally, if you have any issues at all, do talk with the staff. They are all highly accommodating professionals who will work to help in any way. The only complaint is that it's location in Chankyapuri puts you a bit out from other restaurants in Delhi, but the Leela's selection is wonderful. I recommend checking in and not leaving throughout your stay.

Overall, the Hans Hotel is a great place to stay. The location is quite central (near Connaught Place and the main New Delhi train station but away from the dreadful Paharganj Area), the facilities are clean, the staff is professional. The stay includes a nice breakfast buffet (try the fresh parathe (layered flaky flatbread) with mango chutney - you have to order these separately but at no extra charge). We also had a snack of pizza and beer in the Carmelo restaurant one evening - it's a pretty decent bar. We got the room on a discount through Agoda, making it a very good value for Delhi. Only one major complaint: Watch out for the EXORBITANT PHONE CHARGES!!! One short call to a non-local Indian cell phone cost RS 1400!!!

I stayed in the Park New Delhi Hotel during 5 days and I really appreciated the quality of the whole place and the services. The rooms are arranged in a very tastful way that makes us feel home. The breakfast is of very good quality, generous and full of fantasy! The ambiance of the bar and the swimming pool make us totally forget that we are in the centre of New Delhi and the Indian restaurant serves good Indian cuisine. What's more the staff is really amenable and always in good mood! I look forward to my next stay in the Park Hotel!

i have stayed at palace heights on four occasions in the past year and i have never been disappointed by the quality of the service. the welcome is warm, caring and thoroughly efficient from the moment ones arrives. rooms are tastefully designed in a modern fashion, good size for central delhi, with full features like minibar, fruit bowl, tea and coffee making facilities etc. bathroom clean. this is a boutique hotel right at the heart of delhi, but one offering individual service as it has only a very small number of rooms. thoroughly recommended and excellent value for money.

Really good, central location and very helpful staff. An easy walk to the metro, and to the Bengali Market, for supplies - and an ATM that usually has some cash. Ate in room/restaurant a couple of nights, and the food was delicious. Still a bit of building work in progress, and quite near a railway line, so if it's perfect peace you're after . . . well, you should probably give Delhi a miss, altogether. But we loved looking out on the parrots and squirrels while we had breakfast.

Good value for money. The hotel is modernly designed, which could be the best design in Delhi. The is is of no doubt comfortable and nice-furnished. However, the glass window could be cleaned more frequently as there were stains and marks on it. The lighting at the room was warm and could intelligently controlled on the penal. The breakfast was more than great and there were different food choices on alternate days. The gym was large and there were lots of professional equipment, which is out of my expectation.

my and my friends from canada stayed in this fine hotel for 5 days the hotel is centrally located, not very expensive and above all the service is wonderful. ther is a travel desk who will give you all the help and information for city tours and will arrange a tour to agra to see tajmahal. you can go by train, bus or private car. breakfast is usually included if you book thru agoda, food is fantastic. you will go back again in this hotel. we are thinking to come back in delhi and stay in this hotel. all the best.

Overall, our stay at the Diplomat was average. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms of average. The amenities are somewhat modern. The bathroom is a bit lacking. The food is decent but very, very overpriced. The hotel is safe. Yet, for our week stay at the Diplomat, there was a continual smell of gas (petroleum, not farts) that was headache inducing. We could not escape it while on the property. Considering everything, Hotel Diplomat is a good hotel but not a great one. There are much better hotels for a cheaper price in Delhi. But, if you have business in the diplomatic enclave in Delhi, the Diplomat will serve your needs but not impress.

This property could not have a better location. If you want central this is as central as you get. Although right in the midst of it all it is also very quiet and has a great cafe below. The staff are amazing and will do absolutely anything for you. I own a hotel myself and have stayed in many in Delhi over the years, but this tops them all. Not only were the smiles and the service from the staff great, what impressed me the most was the general manager's repour with guests, not like alot of hotels where a gm is invisible. Great hotel, keep up the good work.

We picked this hotel based on its proximity to the convention center Pragati Maidan, and in fact, we have walked back from the event every evening, saving lots of time by avoiding the chaotic traffic jams of New Delhi. The rooms were quite large and well equipped, room service was good and the staff attentive. We dined at the hotel and had dinner at the hotel, which was quite good. Breakfast was also included and offered a variety of choices. In short, an excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

i have stayed in many such hotels all accross new delhi, but this is simply the best. polite and couteous staff, location is superb, extremely comfortable beds, very neat and clean hotel. breakfast was awesome specially the paratha. you can be mistaken for a 5 star hotel once you step into this hotel, however, the entarnce was lill doggy but passby that and you into a heaven between chaos of delhi. i met the owner of this hotel who personally takes care of small details here. its a small hotel but very cozy. i am 100% sure to come back here. my strong recomendation for this hotel :a must try".....my best wishes to staff of hotel bright....specially to depak (service boy) keep smiling always....cheers

After several weeks of bad hotels in India La Sagrita was an absolute relief. It's a modern and clean hotel with very comfortable rooms. The bathroom is wonderful. It's location is central but taxi's (arranged by the hotel) are required. The restaurant is not great and should be addressed - not many food options around. The manager is grumpy (like all other managers in India?) so no big surprise there. We were seriously overcharged for the airport taxi (we paid the hotel) which left a bit of a bitter taste but all in all a great option for a less corporate hotel in central Delhi.

Great value. So much nicer than any Delhi 4-5 star hotel. Rooms fully equipped and functional. Fantastic service, professional and non-invasive. And...reliable & honest - often rare commodities in India. Situated in a pretty, peaceful and cleaner part of New Delhi. Close to Lodhi gardens & other interesting attractions if desired. 40 min to airport - transfer very affordable & professional. Ahuja is particularley good for discerning business travellers, without the sterility and nonsense of a big hotel. It's also great for mid-high range tourists using Delhi as an oasis between (at times arduous) tours & destinations. At the end of the day, it's always the people that make the difference. There's a personable warmth here. And you will sleep and eat well. Worth every cent.

We stayed in The W in February 2013 during our stay in Delhi area. The hotel is a boutique hotel which takes place on the last floor of a 3 floors building. (The first floor it's some office, and the second floor has a bar, but no noise). The hotel is renovated, rooms are clean, comfortable bed, great WIFI, hot shower- great value. The location is great as well, close to the shopping bazar and the main tourist area with small cozy shops, cafes and restaurants. As well not far from main monuments of Delhi and from the airport (not more than 30 min from the airport). It's a little hard to find the hotel since the sign is close to the roof and it's dull, but it's just around the corner from starbucks or you can look for "my bar" it's in the same building. The staff is very nice and flexible. We arrived at 5am in the morning (check in is after 12) but they let us check in right away and asked to complete the registration forms only after we had some sleep which was great. I will stay here again on my next trip to Delhi.

Possibly oneof the best places tostay ina hectic placelike new Delhi. Located in a very nice & quiet area and its just astone throw away from the humayun’s tomb. Rooms are so comfy with great sense of space. Heaps of art works and artefactsto be admited. Lots of treeesand plants in the vicinity makingit very soothing. Food is excellent but book in advance. Service from staff very personal and warm.

A comfortable abode in a more upscale location for Delhi, serving a good breakfast. A bit noisy in road facing rooms but quiet in the others. Westernised Cafe Turtle is close-by and is good to go to for coffee or for light evening meals. What's best is that the owner Eleven Ajay Anand is a nice guy and really helpful with information and getting things organised like booking a taxi or a picnic breakfast if you have an early train to catch. This place is recommended

I was exceptionally well looked after by the staff. The room was spacious, clean and if not luxurious at least well appointed for a hotel of this category in central Delhi. Excellent feature is continuously available Wifi connection for which there is no charge. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a short stay for anyone wanting reasonably priced comfortable accommodation in central Delhi. The size of the hotel makes the experience of staying there more like that of a family home stay with all warmth and attention that Indian hospitality of that kind offers.
