Not to the expected standard. On arrival, my partner and I were told we could not book a table for dinner because they were fully booked due to a wedding, we then went for afternoon tea and were again told they were culture to the wedding. The staff managed to get us a table for afternoon tea and we did get to sit down for dinner at 9:30pm. However the noise coming from the marquee was horrendous and the one benefit of eating so late is that we did not have to listen to it from our room. The building is beautiful and staff try to be helpful, but the Combe cannot be a romantic getaway and a disco at the same time.
