Where to stay in Manchester
Manchester hotels & accommodations

Duration: 4-night (4Feb to 8Feb) Trip: Hong Kong to Manchester Great location with just 3-min walk from Manchester Piccadilly, a main train station in Manchester. It took around 19-min to Manchester Airport. Very clean with comprehensive facilities in the room. Looked up for few hotels in Manchester with similar price. This one is rare with kitchen and living room. ...

I would definitely reccomended this hotel, it’s stylish and has a very classy feel about it. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for her 21st Birthday midweek. However we got the room for £130 which I thought was more than enough as the normal room price is around £300. We also got a free upgrade to the Inner Sanctum suite which was a big surprise. The room was amazing, a...

We were delighted with our choice for this visit to Manchester. We didnt want to stay in the centre but wanted to be within walking distance. The location is perfect. The hotel is spotless clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our room was lovely. It was bright...

We stay at the Pendulum regularly because usually it represents good value for money (some Saturday nights are more expensive but that is the case across Manchester hotels) Rooms are small (some more than others) but well designed so fine for short stays. Reception staff are very efficient. Breakfast service is also efficient and the food is varied enough to suit most ...

Lovely clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Superb location for Manchester Pride......literally the Gay Village, us literally a 5 minute walk away. And a 2 minute walk to Piccadilly Square and all it's shops and restaurants. The hotel is right next door to a Whetherspoons, so we went there every morning for a very cheap but hearty breakfast. Will be usi...

The hotel is in central Manchester, so it’s only a quick walk to local shops, bars and restaurants. We were upgraded to a premium apartment which was great! The apartment was spacious & clean, and came with all amenities to cook after my business meetings. The staff were friendly and helpful for all our requests. We didn’t have time to use the pool or gym, but they loo...

we stayed at doubletree hilton in manchester for two nights. the hotel was clean and everyone was friendly, but for the price i would have stayed somewhere else which was closer to the city center. the location of this hotel is good if you need to be near the piccadilly station, otherwise it was a bit difficult to get to the hotel from and to other spots in the c...

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Manchester and the central location of the apartment played a huge role during our stay. It only took us a 5-10 minutes stroll to the Arndale shopping centre. The 2 bedroom penthouse also came with additional 2 sofa beds which could be shared with 2 people per bed and by far the comfiest sofa bed I have ever slept on. Well...

Stayed here from 23 Dec 2017 to 29 Dec 2017. Great location ( 2 minutes walk to Manchester Piccadilly Station) 10 minutes walk to Arndale/Selfridges and major shopping areas. Waitrose/SPAR/Tesco Extra all within 5 minutes. Apartments tastefully decorated. Appliances aplenty. Staff very helpful & friendly. Will be my default place to stay if visiting Manchester again...

The hotel is in a central location, recently built and the apartment was very clean and well furnished. However the sound insulation in the building is woefully inadequate leaving the apartment I was in sounding like part of the club in the printworks, I could literally hear every word of every track from midnight until 7am. The apartment also has a Juliette balcony in...

We stayed in this hotel overnight having arrived late from Tel Aviv. My partner had taken ill whilst away and had to use a wheelchair which was provided by the airport. The special assistance therefore was not requested by us from the hotel in advance. We had booked a standard double. On arrival we were whisked through the check in and given a free upgrade to a junior...

This is s nice hotel located in central Manchester. This hotel allows pets and our dog was very comfy. Many restaurants nearby. The street car station is very near. There is a street food market nearby. Lots of great shopping nearby. The area is very busy at night with a lot of people drinking. I found this very lively area fun. We noticed a wet spot on the carpet out...

You get what you pay for. Fantastic location right in trhe city centre. I was staying to attend an exam the next day and it was quiet so no problem getting to sleep. Bed was comfortable and warm. The rooms are basic, no towels or toiletries or wardrobe, ust a sink and a shared toilet, which I had no problems getting access to at any time. I also paid for 5he shower upgr...

Stayed w/e end January for a show at the Opera House. Had booked well in advance so two double internal rooms were just £120.00. Upgraded on arrival for £10 each room for rooms with a view. V spacious and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant and 24he bar, though we doesn't use either as we ate/drank out. It's about a 10-15 Min walk to the Opera House and about anot...

Great hotel, perfect for anyone wanting good nightlife in Manchester. The staff were excellent and the hotel is of a very good standard for a Hilton. We were booked in for breakfast and you cant complain for choice and room which was ample. Would recommend the hotel for almost everything in Manchester as it ticks all the boxes.

We have been staying at Clayton's (formerly Bewleys) every year since it opened at Manchester Airport before flying back to the States. We always felt relaxed and comfortable, and it had everything we could want. We'd start with a late afternoon cappuccino in the lounge, and after a little rest, had a beard ate in the dining room. We would have two favorite appetize...

I booked this hotel in spite of its reviews and it turned out to be fine. The room was comfortable and clean and only lacked a fridge to keep our flight snacks cool. We didn't have breakfast as we'd opted to sleep longer and eat at the airport after check in. The staff helped me as I was travelling alone with a lot of luggage and a four year old. The short shuttle to ...

once we had checked we made our way to our room, for a standard room it was huge in comparison to other manchester hotels. the room was very clean and looked fresh and contemporary. the rooms are sound proof, we didn't hear a peep throughout the night. other than that it was a superb stay and i would definately recommend the macdonald to my friends and family!

I booked this hotel through Agoda and had confirmation by email. On arrival at the hotel they had no information about our booking and they were fully booked. They went out of their way to help us locate another hotel for our two night stay in Manchester, not easy a there was a home Manchester City match. They tried to contact Agoda at the time without success. They to...

1.Good location in Manchest city. From London to Manchest city, here is close with Bus staion. 2.Easy to take bus to Manchest United Old Trafford Statium. 3.20 minutes walimg distance to Manchest University museaum, and shopping center area. 4.Close with China Town. Very easy to find some good Chinese style Restaurant, almost is Hongkong style. 5.Room comfortable an...

We arrived late at 11pm and they still entertain us for check in. Room is very basic, sufficient for one night stay. Car park is just beside hotel and parking fee for one night is GBP 7. Distance to Manchester United Stadium around 10 to 15mins walk.

Very impressed with the apartment and the all staff we encountered were just so lovely, friendly and helpful yet efficient. Its was our first stay at CityStop but won't be our last - we booked this as we were struggling to find a reasonably priced room anywhere else (Travelodge would have been twice the price for the 4 of us) as unbeknownst to us it was the Manchester...
Cheap places to stay in Manchester

Hatters is located about 5-10 min walk from the Manchester Picadilly station and is 5 min walk from Picadilly Circus. You can walk to almost most of the museums and shopping centres. Or the tram from Picadilly is easy to use as well. Room was clean and big. Toilets were clean and were very seldom occupied. Showers had sufficient heat and pressure.

So if your staying in central manchester you are probably trying to decide between the two hatter hostels. The hilton is cleaner, has a nice garden area, but is very quiet. There is a tv room/social area and kitchen area where people gather but not many people use it. If I'm staying in manchester after a night out or for work etc I just use the hostel to sleep rather...

The staff is absolutely brilliant and the location is spot on, although the hotel itself needs a good refurb. Beds really comfy, TV signal was cutting off, the heating in the bathroom and our room was on, even though it was absolutely boiling outside. First night felt like we were in sauna, so we had to check out earlier. Maybe other rooms are ok, but room 7 is defi...

Unfortunately we didn't had the best room, the main door is really noisy when is closed and we could hear it from our room. The staff were really nice and helpful. We found tea and coffee plus a kettle in the room, which was really appreciated. The room was big and comfy but the bathroom didn't look specially clean unfortunately. Still, good value for money. Will sure...

Long black hairs in bathtub upon arrival. Lock on my hotel room door broken so could not lock room. Menu in restaurant is from a different Travelodge so many items not available at this hotel. Internet SUPER SLOW so could not use skype to call my wife due to the weak signal and even checking emails difficult. All of this with an additional charge for the internet. Very...

Was wary once I booked and looked at reviews but was fab stayed one night for concert hotel was full of people also going the staff was great, bar wasn't open when arrived so staff said we could go across the road to the shop and buy drink. The room was of good size two single and was clean. Didn't book breakfast so can't comment. Would certainly come again.

the room was good. fairly clean. fresh towels and soaps provided. good fast internet connection. friendly staff. peaceful environment. no noise or anything. coming from a cheap country felt the room was a little bit expensive (not much but still) all in all highly recommend.

I was looking for a cheap room in a hotel close to Trafford shopping centre. This hotel is only 20min drive to the shopping centre. The hotel staff were excellent. I requested for a quiet room and that was exactly what I got. The rooms were very clean and I really liked the bathroom and its cleanliness. The hotel does not have free parking but there were residential ar...

Regarding it was the best price I could find, the experience is not too bad. But just to let you know that the room is very basic with a double room and a wardrobe in bad condition. The room has a strong smell of bleach. The bathroom is usable only, not sparkling clean. There is a shared living room but there is nothing to entertain, just a sofa. My favourite might be...

+ very clean and comfortable rooms + 1km from Manchester Piccadilly railway station + free luggage storage on the day of checkout + all time reception + helpful staff + very good budget hotel. I paid rs 4866 (56 gbp approx) for 2 night stay for 2 people for private room

I stay for one week and very happy with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The staffs are also very helpful. I wanted to extend my stay for another two weeks, but the hotel was fully booked. The best location. A walk away from the Manchester Metropolitan City Univ, and Univ of Manchester is very close in 5 minutes walk distance. The Manchester Museum is a very ...

I found this hotel perfect for my need to get to Manchester airport for an early morning flight. Both myself and my husband had a great stay here in Manchester Hotel. The staff are nice and polite. The rooms were speck and clean and toiletries were always topped up everytime we requested for a make-up of the room. I loved the fact how there was an iron board and iron for me to iron my clothes. And interestingly there was a trouser press also. And the room was very...

For Manchester this is one of the best centrally located hotels. If you are doing business in Manchester you will enjoy this hotel with a friendly professional staff within walking distance to the city center. I do go quite often to Manchester and find this hotel to be the best deal in town as far as price and location.

The cutlery in our room was dirty which was a great turn off. The milk in our fridge was sour which was exchanged quickly. The third strike was the bathroom sink which was nearly choked. For what you pay, you get a big space but when I am travelling, I need a clean room with things in good working order. Manchester has plenty of other accommodation to offer so one ...

The check in staff were friendly and ensured a warm welcome was given. We got in to our room early which was fantastic!! The location for us was ideal for where we wanted to be in Manchester. Whilst I know there are cheaper hotels, we like to have a treat when we're not with our daughter, so yes I would pay this again. The bar food was lovely and Micheal who worked in ...

Really happy with my hotel choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was lovely and breakfast really good. The location was excellent! Would definitely recommend this hot...

We stopped for one night with our 2 year old in order to be in Manchester early and relaxed to see a matinee show at the Lowry theatre. Great clean hotel, super friendly staff, excellent value for money - even got an extra good deal on breakfast with the parking fee included. Would go there every time we needed to be located at the Salford Quays area.

It is in Manchester gay village but don't let that bother you its a great place to stay .rooms are fantastic along with great food both breakfast and a la carte restaurant .staff are friendly ...this place rates as one of the best I have ever stayed in !

The hotel is just next to the University of Manchester, and 10-15 minutes walk to the downtown. Hotel staff is amazing and the bar and restaurant are top class. As it is near University you can also find eateries and convenience store just minutes away. The hotel is new and is clean, and spacious with a sofa that you can relax. Overall highly recommending this based...

Found this hotel through Agoda at an unbelievable price....found check in a bit underwhelming as it was very noisy and took quite a while. Dining and restaurants in Manchester are the best in the UK, reasonable price and tasty. all sort of food around the world can be found in Manchester
City centre of Manchester is pretty small, walkable in half an hour. It has a good homey feel, good shopping and few good cultural places to see.
1) Not much shopping to do, just a few major shops. So, if you're looking for a real shopping city, look somewhere else.
Manchester can be somewhat impersonal as you get closer to the centre of the city but I think that is the same with any major city.
A vibrant city that never sleeps. You can experience foods from many cultures and enjoy a host of activities for all the family.
YOU SHOULD VISIT FOOTBALL CLUBS (MANCHESTER UNITED/CITY) DURING SATYING IN MANCHESTER. ALSO YOU CAN VISIT BLACKPOOL PARK FROM THEIR.
Although Manchester is rich in its culture for 2 major football clubs but besides these, the city of Manchester is actually quite a bustling city with loads of shopping going on.
If you are a football lover especially Manchester United or City fans, Manchester is the place to visit!
It is really full of surprises and you wont be surprised if you can stumble on a new place of interest
Manchester is a beautiful city with ever so friendly locals! A great choice of restaurants and shopping and fabulous sights to see!
The city of Manchester have loads of shopping with some of the best restaurants in the world. Rosso is one of them in the city co-owned by Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United.
"I was really happy with city in all.. Presentation was good, and in most part of city was excellent.
if you want to buy the scarfs or soveniors of MUFC, you'd better bargin and visit some more shops before purchase, there's lots of choices and prices are varied
Very friendly city, with a great bus ride around. The food was really nice in Manchester city center! Hope to get a chance to watch soccer game!
Great place, you can visit both Man Utd and Man City football club. Also you can go to the nearby cities , Liverpool & Leeds for sight-seeing
People living a simple life in Manchester, trams are not as pack as those in other cities or countries.
the best asian food and night life very funky clubs around the city centre do try and visit the shopping malls
Providing you do your research beforehand, Manchester has an outstanding choice of bars & resteraunts & excellent shopping centres.
We only stayed 1 night but found Manchester a vibrant city. There are some lovely buildings when you look hard enough and some nice developing areas along the river.
As always, the public transportation system in the UK is absolutely fantastic, always on time, always clean, very easy to use.
Depending on what you want to do you could find a lot of things to do within the city and outside the city.
uk People are generous and good mind with tourists as well as Swiss. but italian and france impolite bad manner.
Jika anda seorang kaki bola Manchester adalah tempat yang anda mesti pergi di sini beberapa stadium boleh dikunjungi dan dekat dengan Liverpool 30 -45 minit dengan bas ke sana.
easy and convenient to travel in manchester by taxi. all whithin short travel distance. do not reach the stadium late in the evening during winter as the megastore will be closed at 5pm
Manchester City center is a relatively small city and easy to get around by buses or local train. People are friendly and the place is safe to walk around.
Manchester city is lovely, and compact. We did alot of walking and found our way around easily with a map.
Manageable city where most things are walking distance. Generally safe and people are nice compared to the bigger cities.
