"The location of the hotel is great. Across from the Plaza Italia. Very close to the central Independencia Park which is a large welcome green space surrounded by streets with a wide choice of restaurants. The swimming pool on the roof has a great view of the city and the mountains to the west. Look for the huge crucifix in the foothills. THe pool is big enought to relax in and the roof is great for getting some sun. Mendoza is clean and easy to get around in. After crossing the Andes from Chile it was a good hotel to relax in. Avoid the first floor rooms, they are dark. "

"we liked this hotel very much for the price, we paid $76 in high season whihc was a deal. the breakfast was ok, not eggs or anything hot other than coffee/tea. we found that all hotels gave eggs so it was a bit unusual not ot have something hot. the wi-fi worked great and the lobby has 2 free computers for use which was also handy. the location is about 15 min walk to downtown which we liked. the rooms are a good size, but you'll need earplugs for sleeping as you do in most of south america given the traffic and joy of honking."
