"Gatehouse Croft is simply stunning inside and out from start to finish. The welcome is warm, friendly and genuine when picking up the keys. The setting and property are just gorgeous. It's well equipped throughout, including having a far better equipped kitchen than most places we stay - I like to cook so this is important! With the underfloor heating on the ground floor it was always warm and cosy inside, so much so that despite overnight temperatures dropping below freezing we didn't even light the fire! One thing to note - if you have internet-generation kids like mine then the internet didn't stand up to two boys trying to watch YouTube videos but it's not a bad thing for them to have to put their gadgets down! We will most definitely be back at some point in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - by then I hope to have learned to duck better as at 6ft 1in (~185cm) I bumped my head a couple of times!
