Such an improvement since my last visit in May. Not sure whether it's due to the big event that's happening in SCV. We were welcomed with big smile by one of the bellboy and we were ushered to have a seat for check in. The front desk girl (wearing tudung) was very helpful and polite. The check in process was faster than before. Extra star for being able to check in earlier than 3pm. The 2nd floor room was clean and great. This time, there were plentiful bathroom amenities as we were provided NONE during our last visit. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. The guard at the entrance before the parking area was also polite and respectful. Breakfast got improved. I noticed there were additional food spread. The laksa remains yummy. Overall, will definitely stay here again despite the far distance from town.

Very helpful and clear front desk service during check in. We request for connecting room upon check in, they mentioned that their rooms highly occupied, cause it’s Merdeka holiday. But we manage to get the connecting rooms at the end. Thank you so much, this make our stay really fun. Overall the view of the resort is breathtaking, Rooms and surroundings are very clean. During dinner and breakfast time in Horizon cafe they do offer baby chairs for babies. Staff are friendly. During check out, it was fast and efficient on refund of deposit. Flunt and fast within 5 minutes which was really impressing.Unforgettablememories created during this stay. Highly appreciated, well done Damai Lagoon Resort, keep it up. We had a restful one-night stay at Damai Lagoon Resort in the family room. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that suited the needs of our group—three elderly ladies on a short retreat. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and sea views, offering a peaceful and scenic environment that's perfect for relaxation. The staff were courteous and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. We especially appreciated the easy access to the room with minimal walking, which was ideal for the elderly. The breakfast the next morning had a decent variety and was served in a calm setting overlooking nature. Although the resort is a little dated, it’s well-maintained and has a quiet charm. Overall, it was a pleasant, relaxing stay, and we would consider coming back for a longer visit.

Absolutely love my stay here. Kids had the most fun. Clean pool and beach. Amenities well maintained. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is nice too, plenty to select from including for the kids. Definitely will come again.

“Wonderful Stay”
We had a very wonderful 2-night stay at the resort. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and even helped carry our baggage to the room, which was a nice touch. However, there was no welcome drink provided on arrival. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the view was nice, and the TV came with free movies and channels. At first, the room smelled quite musty when we entered (we had to spray some perfume), but the smell went away after a few hours. The only issue was the air-conditioning — even when adjusted to the lowest temperature, it didn’t feel cool enough for the whole room. In-room service was delicious and fast, and breakfast selection was decent. One small hiccup was miscommunication about late checkout: during check-in the receptionist said we could stay until 1 pm, but when we confirmed the next day with another staff member, she informed us it wasn’t possible as another guest was checking in. Location is excellent — just a short walking distance to Sarawak Cultural Village (a must-visit) and Damai Central, which has a food court and 7-Eleven. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay, and we would recommend it for anyone visiting the Damai area.
