1 - I booked a king room and was expecting a roomy room like in the photo they posted but I got a room with the bed surrounded by 3 walls and can only get off the bed at the foot. The staff was kind enough to let me change rooms. The new room they gave me still had the 3 walls around but the 3rd wall was just blocking half the bed's side so it was kinda better than the first. They said they were fully booked. 2 - It's in a prime location with lots of shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions around. The only thing is it gets too noisy at night which I didn't mind since I can still sleep but my partner couldn't. 3 - The dust in the room was crazy! I kept sneezing. Bed and toilet and shower area were clean. But the walls were so dusty especially at the head part of the bed. And you could also see the dust floating in the air. 4 - Staff were friendly. 5 - They charged us to leave our bags for few hours after we checked out. 6 - We didn't get to hang out at their bar but it had nice ambiance.
Great location with Clean small rooms, water pressure was ok. Wi-Fi pretty solid Check-in is done remotely which make the place feel quite impersonal Staff in the attached bar are friendly and helpful

Nice place to stay. Convenient. Good price for the location. Hotel staff are nice. The room is nice and clean. Highly recommend if u want to have a drink at night.🫣☺️
We got the family room. It’s a basic and spacious room with comfy beds. Absolutely no frills. Not even a bathmat/ shower curtain or soap in the shower. So whole floor gets wet. No tea or coffee. No Tv or air con. No cupboard or shelf to store bags. Our bathroom (disabled room) needed a good scrub. Mould everywhere- in fact the accessible shower chair seems too mouldy to sit on. The backrest of the shower seat falls off. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The property is really noisy- bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. It’s a shame because the room is big, the beds comfy, the staff lovely and the location is amazing. It just needs a little more care and attention. - tea and coffee - a Bathmat or shower curtain to keep floor for being wet and dangerously slippery esp in a disabled room. - earplugs for guests -a more detailed clean - somewhere to store luggage- esp in an accessible room where guests may not be able to retrieve items from floor.

“Perfect Central Location ”
Check in needs improving. Room wasn't ready by 15.30, had to come back later. Returned at 17.00, check in said room still wasn't ready but went into room (as we were given room number and passcode already) and turned out room was ready. Clean room, can't fault it. Fan in room. Noises from outside but didn't affect our sleep. Central location meant we could have a rest in the afternoon and head back out no problem. One lift was broken, only one operating. One morning they ran out of milk in the lobby and we ended up buying coffee from bar/restaurant £3 each. No parking available, they don't have cooperation with NCP Moorfield anymore. So parking cost £24.99 daily. All in all still good value for money. Have I mentioned that hotel is above bar and in busy nightlife location? We love it but something to consider if that's your deal breaker.
