You get what you pay for.”

I booked a hostel room. The sheets must have not been changed. they were foul. I changed them myself thinking that the people before me neglected to change them. The price was super cheap however. The one guy was also a bit pushy about selling me a trip. I put my stuff in the room and next thing you know, im being sold a tour around northern india. Quite high pressure. If it didnt happen so fast, i probably wouldnt have cared as much, but they saw their window of opportunity, I get it. Its in the center of everything however. If youre a dirty backpacker, id stay in the hostel room. They do have private rooms which i didnt see. Above all, everyone was friendly and nothing bad happened. The hygeine of the place could be improved is all.

It's a SCAM!”

Don't fall for the photos shown on the booking page. Also, don't fall for the 'anytime check-in' facility mentioned on Agoda. It is not true. Most importantly, the hotel is actually a dormitory facility inside a very shady creepy narrow lane and the caretaker is very rude and abusive. I am not sure if the photos are from some other Hindustan hotel, but it is definitely not from the one present at the mentioned location. Thank god I didn't have a pre-paid booking. Even the autowala from New Delhi station was continuously cautioning me about the locality and the hotel; but I kind of confidently forced him to bring to this place, based on the photos on the booking site. JUST DON'T FALL FOR IT. Thank me Later.

Nothing to complain ”

I arrived to Delhi knowing no one and left knowing almost 20 people just in 4 days. The hostel management crew are amazing, they connect with residents as friends and help as much as they could. The Hostel trips were amazing, I went to Agra, Jaipur and Delhi. The trips were organized with attention to details to make a memorable local experience for travellers. The facilities were pretty clean, and safe. I will go to Backpacker Heaven whenever I'm in Delhi.

Best hostel of delhi ”

First time in a hostel. I stayed for three nights but I wish I had stayed longer. I would definitely rebook and recommend the experience I had in backpackers heaven. I met some amazing people while hanging out in the roof top restautant.I slept in an eight bed mixed gender room, we had our own bathroom. Everyone was considerate!

Best hostel”

Amazing staff who were always around to help you and give suggestions. I'had a pleasant stay at Hindustan...... wonderful staff. The hostel with a best wifi and hot shower. Dorm are clean and comfy beds, clean bathroom.

Best hostel to have a comfortable stay and make a lot of memories while travelling to Delhi. Everyone will treat you like family and you'll never want to leave the terrace plus the restaurant in the terrace is really good and not too expensive.Near to metro station, clean & tidy, friendly staff. Hostel also provides a lot of basic and premium facilities like laundry (on demand), luggage storage, city tours etc. Highly recommend.

Exceptional”

Stayed there for two nights, staff left an amazing impressions with their services. I really enjoyed my time at this well maintained hostel. Bathroom is really nice with western toilet. And their breakfast is awesome. Wifi as well. Would definitely recommend this hostel for everyone that want to visit Delhi.

Amazing ”

Right in the heart of new deli but you do need to walk down a dark ally way to get to the hostel & it can be noisy from the ally way till late at night. Lovely restaurants close by & walking distance to the train station. Staff super friendly & able to help with bookings & SIM cards for phones.

Nice hostel, clean”

Stayed here one night, it's a nice location, out of the busy old Delhi. Plenty of street food and markets around. Common area was nice but I didn't like how people could smoke inside..

Probably Test Backpacker Hostel in Delhi”

The location was nice, away from all the pollution and rush. Beds and Toilet was clean. Everybody was friendly. As I was with foreigners, nobody disturb our sleep by shouting or turning on the lights in the middle of the night.

Excellent ”

Airport pickup was on time and when arrived at hostel manager and employees were all polite and helpful. I booked for 3 nights but as I met a friend I asked to check out early and they gave me a refund for 2 days which was very nice of them. All in all good place to stay.

The location is better than many alternatives in the area, as it is not in a filthy alley. It's a good place to stay. The owner speaks good English and can help you (also with travel planning/ticket reservations). Food service at good price.
