Great surroundings and the location”
We friends stayed for three days and two nights. Overall experience was good with some definite suggestions. Staff- Good and served with a smile. Thanks to the staff in cafeteria/room service, Naresh, Chetan & Rajan. Sanjay from housekeeping. Location and views- Astounding, we experienced over the clouds, rain and fog. Quite, mesmerizing and beyond imagination. Rooms- Old and outdated, chipped off paint, you still manage with the rusted latches, washrooms are cleaned but you have to ask for toiletries everyday. Windowpanes obstruct the amazing views. Corridors need mopping. Customers leave the used dishes in the corridors which lay for 10-12 hours before someone picks them. Residences need a lot of attention. Checkin/out- Smooth. Breakfast- A fixed time is suggested. Buffet facility depends on the number of the guests or you can order from the cafeteria. Ask the serving staff for the menu rather than the reception. Hotel terrace- Great, you have different options to sit and enjoy with your friends/family/solo. Enjoy the sunset with a hot cup of tea/coffee. Places of interest- We visited only three of many because of heavy downpour and cold weather- Temple Jatoli, Monastery & Heritage Center managed by Mohan Meakins. Weather- Jackets are a must even in April.

You are enjoying only 1 day, after that you are feeling like isolated and their is no option to vendering / walking by yourself any other place except the property area. And when crowd is limited, they are not offering you buffet breakfast.

Mosquitoes and silverfish as bedmates. The TV wouldn't work. General feel of poor hygiene. The only thing that works for it is the view. That's all. And, you could get a better breakfast at a roadside Dhaba.

Best stay in hills”
Courteous staff, Clean rooms and Good food. Only whine is that my super deluxe room had pine trees behind balcony, so limited view of hills. It is what it is. Overall nice place.

I was quite excited about spending a quite evening on a hill top but my experience was the opposite of what I was looking for. While the staff is great(10stars to them), and the location is ok - my stay here could not have been more uncomfortable. I’m listing some of the things here: 1) The mattresses are super old and I could feel the mattress springs digging into my back all night. Could hardly sleep for an hour or so. 2) Loud music and party people screaming at the top of their voices until midnight, even though the loud music should end by 10pm. I had to make multiple uncomfortable calls to the reception and yet it took over an hour for them to intervene. Getting away from the city felt like the worst idea because there was no calm even at midnight. 3) My room was right next to housekeeping and their phone kept ringing all night. There is not enough soundproofing and if you are a light sleeper - you will wake up every time. 4) Wifi is unavailable in the rooms- so if you’re travelling and working, please byo-wifi or work in the lobby. Really wish this was clarified earlier. 4) Breakfast is charged for and not complementary as advertised in app 5) I honestly thought that getting a drink would help me sleep but the bar timings are not fixed and they only served local whiskey - which didn’t help at all to deal with all the issues above. On a more positive note, the staff is polite but sadly they weren’t able to help me with any of the major issues listed here. Really hope the management makes the place a bit more proper so that people get their money’s worth.

The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. The facilities were impressive, especially the breakfast which was delicious. The room size was spacious and comfortable. The walkability was a bit of an issue, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, it provided great value for money and I would recommend it to others.
