"Perfect location, surrounding. You can enjoy beach and forest at the same time. The view of sunrise n sunset is stunning! The decoration is beautiful where instagrammers will love it. But the room is quite pack will little space to keep ur belongings. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent if u dont like to be bite by one. At night will have more mosquitoes than daytime. Suitable for escaping from the city but u still enjoying good internet as it is only 20minutes away from the city. A lot of seafood restaurant nearby and u can also go to kampung buntal to enjoy delicious seafood which is just 10minutes drive. U can also go to damai beach which is so near to the culvert. There is also dinner being served up until 9pm everyday. "

"This hotel is low density and has the most incredible setting with views of the mountain, mangroves, beaches and Bako national park. Spacious, luxurious rooms with balcony. Loads of space for 4 people in our room with a huge bathroom (corner suite) The kids loved playing in both swimming pools. They provided inflatables for the kids and have a large array of board and card games available for them to play. The chef made individual meals to order for the children for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day - best macaroni cheese in Malaysia! Both pools are lovely. Cove 55 is extremely clean, impeccably decorated and the staff try so hard to personalise your stay. I highly recommend Cove 55 for families or couples wanting to stay somewhere friendly and high quality from which to easily explore Santubong mountain (15 mins), the Cultural village (10 mins) , Bako national park (40 mins) and the Kuching wetland boat rides to see dolphins, proboscis monkeys, fire flies and crocs"

"I rented a cabin for 5 nights, and it had all that we needed. Comfortable beds, fresh linen and towels, and 24-hour hot water. The resort is inside the rainforest, just beside the sea, so at night it was a world away from our megacity apartment, with the only sounds being that of lapping water and insects and the odd animal. Expect to be woken by a chorus of birds, and greeted by Silver Leaf-monkeys and a variety of squirrels on the way to breakfast. Look for bumps on trees, and you might have a rare Maned Forest Lizard, a Flying Lemur or a Malay Eagle Owl. Breakfast was a delicious start to each day, and then there was a choice of any number of activities, such as hiking in the rainforest (look out for the resident Proboscis monkeys) , hiring a kayak and exploring the coastline, or just relaxing in the natural swimming pool. The restaurant offered a good choice of food for dinner. There is a small shop at Reception, and just a short walk up the road is a complex called Damai Central, with an ATM, a bar, a 7/11 and a food court offering a delicious choice of local food. The Sarawak Cultural Village (also at Damai) was well worth the visit too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be back many times in the future. A very big thank you to Stan at reception for his friendliness and patience in answering all of my queries, and to Lyana in the shop for being so beautiful and sunny during our chats. "

"First off, I would definitely come back and stay here again. We just came back a week ago after staying at this cozy little lovely resort, and both I and my friend felt that 2 nights were just too short. The staffs there were all excellent and friendly. Especially the lovely lady from Myanmar was very helpful and made our stay even more comfortable and unforgettable. All the other staff you see there would smile at you which make you feel welcome. If you are not sure what to do there, ask them and they will give you tips. Rooms are nicely decorated and you are likely to wake up to the chirps of the local birds around/in the resort every morning. Their swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. Since the resort has only 12 rooms (each for double occupancy) and 2 dormitory-style rooms, most of the time the pool was not busy at all. The resort is only minutes away from the Cultural Village (interesting to see but a bit expensive, MYR 60 per person) and Damai Beach. But don’t expect the water clarity as compared to the Eastern side of the Island the water is only okay quality and definitely not crystal clear with a beautiful shade of blue or green. Still nice to relax and walk along the beach, though. The rirost is 100m away from the nearest beach but this one is quite abandoned and has inferior view. Could be a nice place to look at the stars as the beach has not lights around at night. If you are up for a little more nature excursion, try mangrove cruise tour, one of the tours you can book at the resort for MYR 150 (morning) and 180 (evening.)You won't be dissapointed. We saw a turtle, a dolphin, many proboscis monkeys and and long-tailed macaque monkeys...and hundreds of fireflies plus beautiful starry sky from the boat. Simply the best holiday weekend I ever had. I would love to go back soon!"
