"As quite everything in this part of Indonesia, you can't do anything without a car/driver. Hopefully kitchen is great and you can have good food on the hotel terrace overlooking a breathtaking scenery with the distant roar of the nearby river. The hotel is quite small and we had the luck to be alone with my friends (We booked 4 rooms) during our stay, so we really felt at home. The place is really pretty (Except the broken glass on top of the walls...) and help to set you in a peaceful and relaxing mood. Staff is very helpful and caring, and can help you arrange anything you need for your stay (Food, massage, guide, transport). Really good experience overall (just be careful of the omnipresent ants that will raid any unprotected food). "

"We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in Kalibaru Cottages en route to Sukamade Turtle Beach in Meru Betiri National Park. We booked our trip to Sukamade Turtle Beach also through Kalibaru Cottages. The trip to the Turtle Beach was very well organised with lots of free additional excursions by the guide to a farmer processing it's own sugercane, tradtional market visit, hiking to Teluk Ijo (Green Bay) and more while travelling to and from Sukamade. On the return trip we got dropped-off at Ketapang for the ferry to Bali at our request. Both driver and guide were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout these 2 wonderful days, highly recommended!"

"What a lovely place was this.We arrive in the evening by train, and although it was a short walk they suggested us to pick us up for free. The garden is filled with the most beautifull flowers that smell very nice. The swimming pool is gigantic and situated beautifully with palm trees around it. There is not much to do/see in the surroundings but one can take a stroll in the neighbourhood. It takes a lot of groups staying for usually only one night so during the day is very quite, also in the swimming pool that was for us alone There's a nice guided tour in their garden, a place to relax and go back!"
