My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was overall very satisfied with everything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The highlight, though, was the exceptional staff. Whether it was the helpful receptionists(both days) at the front desk or the helpful staff in the restaurant, everyone was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was great! Parents & sibs love the nasi lemak, while me enjoyed an english breakfast. I read the reviews on limited choices of food but for us, the food choices was superb & very delish. The only issue we encountered mybe was with the body wash – it was emptied when we checked into the room. While I understand I could have easily requested for it, we just decided to use our own body wash, however, this is a minor point compared to the overall positive experience. Just hopefully your staff can be more alert & check on that before any guests check in ((Thanks also to that helpful & friendly cashier/staff at Lepapa mart assisting to our needs)) I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again! Keep up with the great service.
I stayed in the Suite Balcony with a king-size bed on the top floor corner unit. Good things to know... The Balcony has a good view. The room is very spacious to relax. There are 2 working aircons, and both work well to keep the room cool. The sofa is comfortable. The study table is centre and practical to use. The mini bar fridge works, too. The kettle was handy and easy to use. The hot water for shower and sink works well. The breakfast ....the coffee machine is excellent, the bread like the croissant was perfect.... I extended my stay for a few hours after check out on the last day and was given a reasonable price that the front desk accommodated me due to having a late evening flight. That was very helpful and allowed me to relax further before going to the airport. Parking was free, convenient, and nearby on ground level to the main entrance. The technician was the only staff I had an interaction and greeting. He was certainly professional and well deserving as an employee working for your organisation. Overall, the price paid for the room is well worth it. NOT Good things to know ( Needs to do and change ) The bathroom and shower were not properly clean. The shower floor was slippery. Had to spray a lot of water to get rid of algae and soap to make it not slippery. Housekeeping did not clean the whole room and bathroom even under the sink, which is dirty for the 3 days. When we told her on 2nd day morning to clean the room. She did not change our towels as requested. We got the towels eventually changed on the 3rd day of our stay. The only change I noticed for each of my 3 days stay was that she did add new coffee, tea, sugar, creamer packets, and 2 bottles of water, and made up the beds which was a good sign something was done. Walkway lights in the corridor from lifts to room power tripped, and no one noticed until we informed the front desk after 2 hours. The breakfast food needs improving for sur. The rest of the food was not worthy. I had 1 breakfast on the first day and 1 simple coffee on the last day, out of the 3 days there. I choose to eat out. The staff needs to be more professional in their service. I noticed that greetings were not used to myself or any guest at the lobby or in the property. I look forward to coming back again because I did overall have a good experience staying at the property. Thank you.
The check-in process was smooth and fast. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean with comfortable bedding. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi was stable.

nice & good value, but need some maintainece. i booked 2 rooms & one of them has water leaking from the aircond. informed the receptionist but seems no action as it was still the same on the next day. while another room (duplex) has a very strong bad smell i believe it came from the very old carpet. there are some days rooms were not clean & i wanna commented about the cleaning timing too as they called me at 1pm asking me if i wanted to clean the room. i told them wait for another half an hour as we were not ready yet but they insist to do it right away & mentioned room last call cleaning was at 1pm which is funny coz the day before they did the cleaning after 2pm. breakfast was ok, they chg the menu everyday so it wasnt so boring. overall i had a good stay but this hotel i believe there is room for improvement

“Convenient Stay with Tasty Food & Minor Flaws”
I stayed at Impiana by Roxy Hotel in Kuching and booked their two-bedroom apartment called Sandal Wood. Upon check-in, I was required to prepare a RM100 cash deposit. The staff were very friendly, and the apartment itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and surprisingly modern for a repossessed building. Basic kitchen appliances like a microwave, stove, oven, kettle, mugs, and cutlery were provided — though I recommend washing them before use. However, there was only one dustbin under the sink and none in the bathrooms or bedrooms. Toiletries were minimal too, so it’s best to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and other essentials. An iron was included, but not the ironing board unless you request one. The master bathroom also lacked a towel rack, and there was a permanent yellow stain on the sink’s marble surface. The second bedroom was quite small in comparison, with no dressing table, and the second bathroom was not attached to the room like the master — something to take note of if you’re planning for privacy or convenience. The Wi-Fi worked but slowed down with multiple devices connected. One big downside was housekeeping — despite hanging the “Please Make Up Room” sign for three days and even calling the receptionist directly with a heads-up that we’d be out for over an hour, the room was never cleaned properly. On Day 4, housekeeping finally came around 9:30 AM, but we were already back, so the timing defeated the purpose. Parking was public and limited — not basement or reserved — and tends to fill up after 6:00 PM due to a rooftop bar that stays open until late. On the bright side, the food at their restaurant was excellent and surprisingly affordable. Their complimentary breakfast buffet was tasty, with a menu that seems to change daily — and we were especially impressed by their mashed potatoes with gravy, which were so good! Lastly, if you’re staying over the weekend, take note that many nearby restaurants are closed on Sundays, so plan to eat at a mall or cook your own meals. Overall, while the space and aesthetics were great, the lack of consistent housekeeping, layout limitations, and small maintenance oversights did affect the experience.
