Super stay”

We stayed at the Mercure Central Amsterdam for our smaller honeymoon due to my wifes work commitments we only had a few days after our wedding for half term. The hotel is fantastic with great rooms as you would expect from Mercure. You could not ask for a better location walking distance to all major attractions but just away enough so the area is quiet and relaxing. The staff ate attentive and friendly if you want to stay in Amsterdam look no further than this hotel.

Clean and spacious hotel in city centre”

everything within reach

Mercure is located at the city centre. A newly refurbished hotel with well-known design furniture in the room. The room is spacious with high ceiling and queen size bed. The most woderful furniture in the room is a rocking chair. Most of the major sightseeing points are in walking distance. As it situated in a residential area, it is quiet but well lit and safe at night time. Staffs are friendly and helpful. However, the kettle are charged and no complimentary tea & coffee. This is common in the area.

Love Amsterdam and this hotel was ideal for us.”

Cleanliness, location, affordable.

Really loved this hotel, very clean, large rooms compared to other Amsterdam hotels. Very good value for money. Didn't use the bar or restaurant but the menus looked good.

Got to be one of the very best Amsterdam options”

Location, staff, quiet.....

Having had a few mixed experiences with Accor group hotels over the years, we've just two great stays, the first being here. The hotel is in a quiet street close to the old canal network and a really short, interesting walk down into town. There are cafes and a good Museum nearby and it's fair to say we were equidistant between old town and the Museums. We were concerned about a top floor room on the street being a bit noisy and hot so we were moved to a room which appeared to be a bit of an upgrade to a "privilege" room, which was spacious, with a good bathroom and tasteful decor....quiet with good aircon. I really approve of this place and would certainly go there next time.

Excellent location and very friendly staff”

The hotel is situated in a great location - short walking distance from some of the key tourist attractions such as the Heineken Experience and the Canal Cruise (Blue Boat Company). Staff were extremely helpful. They answered all our queries and recommended some places to go and check out, particularly in the evening. It is a bit pricey but I guess it is a price worth paying to be close to the city centre.

Perfect Location”

Quiet but near to all amenities

Situated near a tram stop and only 3 stops to Dam Square (which took 10 minutes maximum) and 4 stops to Central Station. It was great to get away from the all the noise and thousands of tourists right in the centre but in fact be so close to everything. Lovely restaurants and bars located near hotel. It is also close to the museum belt, and big park. Room was very pleasant and staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend the hotel.

Quaint hotel in a quiet lane”

Near Heineken Experience

This Mercure hotel is rather different from the rest and it's rather small. For the taller folks, they may find it rather claustrophobic but for the average ladies, it should be fine. It's very near the Heineken Experience (within walking distance) but a few tram stations away from the heart of Amsterdam. Other than the bed being too soft and slightly smaller room, it's still clean and quiet.

this is one of my favorite hotel in europe. the room design is unique, very comforting. bed is nice, great service, great internet connectivity and more. only short walking distance to the main road (prox. 15 mins) and they also provide you with bicycle rent so you could discover the city easier. the hotel has its own restaurant and if you looking for more, it's only take you 5 mins walking to find more restaurant nearby.

lovely quiet hotel, easy to find and close to a tram stop. it is within walking distance of central town. the room was very clean and tidy, although a little on the small size. it was good to have a tv that should bbc 1 and 2, although it was disappointing to have to pay 5 euros a day to have tea and coffee facilities in the room- euros for breakfast was a tad expensive too. i would definately consider going back and staying at this hotel

Location is quite good, hotel has own bike rental, quiet neighborhood very close to Heineken experience

It was a very good hotel, the rooms are better than what I expected, in fact very stylish. I think it was worth more than I paid for. Very friendly reception and helpful. Only problem was there was stairs going up to the reception area where the lift was so its very hard to carry heavy luggage past the front door going to the reception or your room becausw the lift is not on the same level. Otherwise, a good hotel.
