“VINTAGE BUT MYSTERIOUS ”
The room was large and spacious. I traveled with my friends from Manila, and Bacolod was our next overnight stop. Before going, we read some reviews, and one really caught our attention—someone mentioned there was an “entity” in the hotel, which made us super curious 😂 We arrived late because the RoRo was delayed, and we had dinner first. Our first impression was that the hotel was old but clean, and the staff were very accommodating and kind. When we got to the room, everything felt quiet and normal. You could really tell the building was old, especially in the corridors, but it was okay since everything was clean and the rooms were big. Definitely value for money. We did some TikToks and then went to sleep around 10 PM because we were really tired. Before sleeping, I plugged in my phone to charge. In the middle of the night, I suddenly woke up and remembered to unplug my phone since it was already fully charged. When I went back to bed, I felt something odd. The only light that was on was in the bathroom. I was sleeping on the floor since there were three of us and I was the only girl. I was actually thankful that all the chairs had bags on them because I remember hearing before that if a seat is empty, someone might sit there 😭 When I lay down again, I suddenly felt scared out of nowhere, like someone was watching me from the edge of the bed. I covered myself with my blanket until I eventually fell asleep again. In the morning, my friend shared that he woke up around 2:45 AM to go to the bathroom. When he came back, he was scrolling on his phone, and after 3 AM, he heard someone walking in front of the bed—like the sound of someone wearing rubber slippers. He even tested my Crocs to see if they made that noise because he thought it might’ve been me. But when he looked, there was no one there. He also got goosebumps. So yeah, that was our experience.
