Monserrat hotels & places to stay

The lock for my room needed to be repaired. I have difficulty lock and unlock my room each time i need to.go out and enter the room. Good thing is the location of the hostel is excellent with easy access to the downtown and the tango theater. The roof top garden is nice too..

spent a few night here with some friends, a lot was going on night and day with trips, and theres were plenty of other travellers around to talk to. great for nights out but also not to bad if you need some sleep. thanks!

This was an ancient hotel refurbished a few years ago, maintaining its original charm.

loft and arte hotel is realy a pic. it has the best location for a downtown ba hotel. all the interesting highlights of ba are close by. rooms are great, very big, nicely decorated. from the first minute i felt home in this hotel. staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. i'll recommend this hotel and if i come back to ba i'll definatly stay here again.

The hotel is nice and clean and very affordable. I would definitely recommend the rooms. The showers are great. The only downside is the breakfast which is basically just bread and pastries. No protein, no fruit. I ended up getting breakfast somewhere else everyday.

The hotel is very close to plaza Mayo and other places that you would like to visit as a tourist.we booked superior room which I believe is the best room in the hotel, big, high ceiling and good view of the street, although a bit noisy. Staff is nice to help to book the tango show and we got the best table. The owner is very kind too. Overall a pleasant stay.

It was a nice experience in this hotel centrally located. A few steps away for a metro station gives you the chance to go all around the city. Good speed in the internet location. Perhaps only a little bit more in the breakfast. Missing scramble eggs

I enjoyed my stay at Castelar. I had a quiet room at the back, facing the inside rather than the street. The food was delicious. The beds big and comfortable and the TV had many TV channels. There is also free wifi and internet. The hotel has a lovely old style with a great reception and bar area.

The hotel is located between the Avenue of July 9 and the Congress House in the longest street of the world. Metro station nearby. Nice area with good shopping, eating facilities, cheap restaurants. Not the best hotel ever but good value for money. Elevator available, really friendly people, good service.

My phone got stolen by a bicycle thief infront of the hotel, I went to the reception and a security guard was there. I asked for help to call the police but they told me that I had to walk to the police station 10mins away. Very bad staffs. Avoid staying here!!!

Value for money

The location of this hotel in the Montserrat area is perfect for us to explore the neighbouring areas of San Telmo and downtown Florida Street by foot. The staff was indifferent, the room was small but comfortable, the breakfast was great (the best in all the Argentinean hotels we have stayed at) and the food at their restaurant was excellent!

You best bet is to take the bus that will drop you off at the city centre then take a taxi from there as the price from the airport is pretty high. an excellent stay.room is nice with lots of wine selections. hotel manager serves excellent breakfast and exclusive vip service. nearby there is good and cheap laundry. The staff were very helpful with arranging airport pick up and taxis/tour suggestions,friendly and understood our English questions well! The football theme on the guest doors were a great sight,very unique.
