I stayed at Hotel New Surya honestly because I couldn't get a room at our family's regular hotel. Therefore, our expectations were not high. However, after traveling to Hotel New Surya, we were greeted with extraordinary hospitality. We were assisted by two beautiful and very friendly lobby staff. They explained the hotel rules very well and answered our questions very patiently, considering I am very detail-oriented. The room was very clean. I thought the air conditioning would not be cold, but it was actually very cold. Comfortable and pleasant. The extra service was very quick and responsive. The swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. The staff always greeted us with sincere kindness. The restaurant was quite okay, tasty to our Surabaya tongues. In short, we will return, but with a trick to go through Jember to reach New Surya Hotel. Keep succeeding, New Surya Hotel. Thank you for the enjoyable experience of a 3-day, 2-night stay for our family.
The hotel's area is spacious and filled with lush plants. Parking is in front of the hotel rooms. The security team at the front of the hotel is outstandingly responsive to guests. Even though the road is clear, the front security is quick to assist with crossings. The hotel rooms are also spacious. The restaurant for breakfast is also suitable. I would like to stay here again if there is an event in Jajag, Gambiran District, Banyuwangi. I also recommend this hotel for other guests.

I liked the place, the food was also good outside of breakfast; we ordered fried bananas, opor, and the noodles were really delicious. The only downside was that when I requested an extra pillow, they charged me 10,000 and this was my first time; in several cities I have visited, they would usually give extra pillows right away. Also, one more thing, the air conditioner was not directed towards the bed, so it didn't feel cold. If I go to BWI again, I would like to stay here again.

When I had work matters in the Banyuwangi Selatan area, I struggled to find a representative accommodation. Eventually, I found this New Surya hotel. I requested an early check-in and the hotel granted it for a fair additional fee. The room was cozy and unique, like something that is hard to find in the same location. The facilities were complete, with a restaurant, coffee shop, and a swimming pool as well. The breakfast was also quite complete for a hotel. The interior is quite impressive with uniquely styled modern minimalist furniture.
