    “Exceptional”

It was a very pleasant stay. Definitely worth the price, and overall recommended! Room - The room was very spacious, and very clean. The western style room had very comfortable beds. It was very clean Private Onsen - This was the highlight of the room. It had two (2) private onsens, an indoor and outdoor one. These were very enjoyable, and the view of the mountain was nice. They also had a rooftop onsen which can be booked privately, and it was amazing as well. Definitely recommended to book this one at night so you can enjoy the stars Food - Hida beef was great. Apart from that, the rest were ok. Traditional Japanese food wasn't really into our liking, but definitely worth trying and experiencing! Staff - The receptionist was very kind, accommodating and thoughtful. She even went out of her way to inquire we had booked tickets in advance to Shirakawago and offered to help us if not. Location - The place is very isolated, and it takes around 30+ mins to arrive from Takayama Station. You will need to take note of the bus schedules especially the last trip if you're arriving late. If your goal is to relax, then it's definitely worth it as the location is very peaceful. Take note though that there are no restaurants nor convenient stores nearby so you might have to buy essentials before hand

    “Yukimurasaki Ryokan ”

Our stay at Yukimurasaki Ryokan was short, but it left such a lasting impression on us. Even though we arrived a little late, the staff still warmly welcomed us and made sure we could enjoy the incredible dinner and all of the amenities they offered. We only wish we could have stayed longer. A very special thank you to Tangerine at the front desk for her kindness and exceptional hospitality. We had an early flight out of Toyama Airport the next morning and were worried because we weren’t sure if Uber would be available in the area. Tangerine went above and beyond by helping us contact a local taxi driver and arranging transportation for us to the airport. Her graciousness and willingness to help made our trip so much less stressful, and we are truly grateful. The dinner and breakfast set menus were absolutely amazing, and every staff member we met was so warm and welcoming. The ryokan itself was peaceful, relaxing, and such a beautiful experience. Thank you again to everyone at Yukimurasaki Ryokan for making our stay so memorable.

    “Beautiful stay at Yukimurasaki”

Cannot recommend enough - the staff here went above and beyond to ensure my easy transfer from Tokyo, and to be sure I was able to fully enjoy the lovely rooftop onsens. The food was incredible, the location was gorgeous, and the room was stellar. A perfect way to unwind after the hustle of Tokyo.
