Where to stay in Recoleta
Recoleta hotels & accommodations

Friendly staff. Very well located, just a walking distance from Recoleta Mall, Buenos Aires Design Shopping Mall... but be prepared. It is very decadent. The smell of cigarette is very strong. The rooms are not clean, neither the bathroom. Breakfast is reasonable. But very good price, if you dont mind any of these things.

My wife and I resided at this stately hotel late March 2019 for a few days. We were provided a very comfortable room which had plenty of space, and was very quiet. The hotel was conveniently situated with plenty of luxury boutiques nearby. In terms of guest management, concierge was most helpful in assisting us with all bookings we required, and my wife and I defini...

The hotel is located close to the cementary which is a top tourist attraction in Buenos Aires and have a few restaurants/bars as well as grocery stores in the area so it is very convenient. The atmosphere area is more relax than downtown and you can see many people chilling out in the park. The room is good size and comfortable, although nothing fancy or luxurious. The...

Perfect location in Recoleta but not the most touristy part. Cheap cabs though to anywhere in the city you want to go for touristic attractions, shopping, restaurants, nightlife. Great for gay travelers. Great pool in the back that gets good sun and is clean and well-kept, the place felt totally safe with a 24 hour doorman at the entrance, quiet and fully equipped r...

Great large room with an amzaing view the bed was 1 of the best iv had at a hotel. The shower and the jucuzi were great. Breakfast was a small buffet of continental food. Internet was fast and location was a short walk to everything definitely recommend a stay here.

Piccaluga Apartments are within easy walking distance of the famous cemetery, Bellas Artes Gallery and other museums and attractions in Recoleta, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars. Retiro is also within easy walking distance, together with other attractions such as the Obelisk and the Plaza Meyor. The apartments are clean and well serviced providing spacious accom...

We stayed at the Alta Piazza on 4 occasions during a 3 week holiday, using it as base from which we made several side trips around Argentina.(accommodation booked October 2015). For each short stay (1 night to 7 nights), we booked a Balcony Suite. On 3 occasions we had rooms that were similar, and 'almost' as described on the website, though the single beds in twin room...

This hotel is a perfect place for a traveller (business or pleasure) who wants a room with space (couch, breakfast table with four chairs, little kitchen). WiFi is available in the room (against a small fee) and free use of PC's are in the hall way. It is positioned at the corner of Recoleta Park with many bars and restaurants. Staff is kind and helpful. Everything is ...

The hotel is located next to the luxurious Avealer Palace Hotel ( looks like the Plaza Hotel in New York). This area is stunning . Like a previous review stated your staying in one of Buenos Aires upscale and beautiful areas at budget prices. Your 10 minutes to the Recoleta Cemetry, where Evita Peron is buried. Hotel Staff was very nice. Wifi was AWFUL! But otherwise ...

This is a very small hotel with the rooms set up as ‘suites”, i.e., it is like a studio apartment with a small kitchen area. It is located in the heart of the Recoleta neighborhood and that is why I stayed there. II think that 3.5 stars would be an appropriate rating for this little hotel and that only because of its location in proximity to the cemetery, restaurant...

Great location in the Recoleta at a great rate. Booked several nights and was offered a better deal. Comfortable rooms with heating, a/c, mini fridge and stove. It was great for a week’s stay. One major problem, the bed, a full size bed consist of two twin size beds joined together by a strap. The strap and the division between the beds was uncomfortable and could be f...

We loved the hotel. It´s cosy, very lovely room with the bath in the center of the room - different but cool idea. It´s near the best restaurants and bars. The cementry is not too far away too. Room has free champagne all day and night. If the bottle is empty you get a new one straight away. Room was always clean.

The staff at the hotel were fab. Helped us with directions every morning as we left the hotel. One evening, there even helped us heat up some food we had brought. Special mention goes to receptionist Facundo who helped us deal with an atrocious taxi booking company who left us with the hotel and refused to take our bags. He most professionally tried to work out a solut...
Cheap places to stay in Recoleta

Pros were location in Recoleta, charming, helpful English speaking staff and the other guests, generally enjoyed my time here but..... Cons, it just felt very dirty, shower rooms need major update, floors generally filthy despite cleaner doing her best and mattresses/pillows not great either...

the owners would pay little more attention to what they are actually providing for clients. The building is absolutely beautiful, and in the "superior" rooms you get to stay in what I would describe an original 1920s decor with original bathroom fittings. Yes, they are worn but it does not really matter as everything in this hotel is, nevertheless, these rooms are beau...

Great stay; Like all cities BA is more expensive than elsewhere in Argentina. This place was reasonable but good value for money. Very comfy bed and great location. Breakfast was rather repetitive being 3 sweet croisants, coffee and juice served in a nearby cafe. Tasty but too sweet after one or two days. Wonderful stay, recommended.

In one of the beautiful historical parts of the city, on the top floor of a lovely old stone, 7 story building. It is two blocks from a subway station and close to many nice cafes and restaurants too. The boss, Hugo, is very helpful and has no problems getting around any language barrier. He recommended several restaurants and organised a taxi for me - punctual perfec...

Martin contacted us before we arrived via Agoda. He wanted to make sure that when we arrived that we were taken care of. The hotel was two blocks from the mall, cemetery and great restaurants. The rooms were clean and had areas to sit and watch tv as well as a kitchenette and desk area. If you have the original nespresso capsules bring them. They have a nespress...
