Where to stay in Recoleta
Recoleta hotels & accommodations
Beautiful hotel. The entire staff was wonderful....very friendly and helpful. Alejandro went the extra mile and arranged Spanish lessons for me when my original plans fell through. Thank you!
Closed the recoleta, ateneo book store, Restaurante, but the hotel is very old and the facility, not good, serve just simple meal as well.
My wife and I had originally made a 5 night booking but decided to extend this to 12 nights so that we could enjoy the city culture that BA had to offer. Mayla Apartments provided a convenient location for all of our interests
Friendly staff. Very well located, just a walking distance from Recoleta Mall, Buenos Aires Design Shopping Mall... but be prepared. It is very decadent. The smell of cigarette is very strong. The rooms are not clean, neither the bathroom. Breakfast is reasonable. But very good price, if you dont mind any of these things.
My wife and I resided at this stately hotel late March 2019 for a few days. We were provided a very comfortable room which had plenty of space, and was very quiet. The hotel was conveniently situated with plenty of luxury boutiques nearby. In terms of guest management, concierge was most helpful in assisting us with all bookings we required, and my wife and I defini...
There is nothing special about this hotel. Nor is there anything bad - which may be special at this price point in Recoletta. Staff always tried to be helpful. Quiet location.
It was a very nice hotel. Lobby was beautiful. Staff friendly and went out of their way to help answer all of our questions. It was close to shopping and walking distance to some sights. The hotel is right around the corner from the famous cemetery where Eva Peron is buried. There are many restaurants in the area both high end and economy. I would highly recommend this...
The hotel and staff were great! Our room was very comfortable and a nice size. The lobby was nice and we appreciated the free access to the internet available in the lobby. They also provide bathrobes in the rooms which is a nice perk. The concierge gave us a great restaurant recommendation that was within walking distance! The location to the Recoleta Cemetary and o...
The Bel Air is located on a side street in Recoleta, convenient to shopping on Santa Fe. The area is nice and safe, with a park nearby, and taxis are plentiful. The room is on the small side, but comfortable enough. The bathroom is bigger than expected. I would've given the hotel very high marks if the staff acted more friendly and engaging. Several times I passed by t...
The hotel is located close to the cementary which is a top tourist attraction in Buenos Aires and have a few restaurants/bars as well as grocery stores in the area so it is very convenient. The atmosphere area is more relax than downtown and you can see many people chilling out in the park. The room is good size and comfortable, although nothing fancy or luxurious. The...
Perfect location in Recoleta but not the most touristy part. Cheap cabs though to anywhere in the city you want to go for touristic attractions, shopping, restaurants, nightlife. Great for gay travelers. Great pool in the back that gets good sun and is clean and well-kept, the place felt totally safe with a 24 hour doorman at the entrance, quiet and fully equipped r...
We had found Blue Trees through Agoda and were not disappointed with expectations. Had a mistake on our part on dates of reservation and even though there was no refund, the staff responded affirmatively to the changes and had no problems when we checked in. It is a nice boutique hotel in the Recoleta district and could walk to many venues.
lovely hotel in good safe location. old renovated colonial style building.lovely cosy rooms. great staff, very helpful. good breakfast,in small intimate cafe . definetly stay there again if ever in b.a
Great large room with an amzaing view the bed was 1 of the best iv had at a hotel. The shower and the jucuzi were great. Breakfast was a small buffet of continental food. Internet was fast and location was a short walk to everything definitely recommend a stay here.
Piccaluga Apartments are within easy walking distance of the famous cemetery, Bellas Artes Gallery and other museums and attractions in Recoleta, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars. Retiro is also within easy walking distance, together with other attractions such as the Obelisk and the Plaza Meyor. The apartments are clean and well serviced providing spacious accom...
The hotel was very nice. Clean and modern. Comfortable beds. Not sure it´s 5 star though. Rather small rooms and no hot water. Nice for a transfer stop, the staff were very helpful.
We stayed at the Alta Piazza on 4 occasions during a 3 week holiday, using it as base from which we made several side trips around Argentina.(accommodation booked October 2015). For each short stay (1 night to 7 nights), we booked a Balcony Suite. On 3 occasions we had rooms that were similar, and 'almost' as described on the website, though the single beds in twin room...
This hotel is a perfect place for a traveller (business or pleasure) who wants a room with space (couch, breakfast table with four chairs, little kitchen). WiFi is available in the room (against a small fee) and free use of PC's are in the hall way. It is positioned at the corner of Recoleta Park with many bars and restaurants. Staff is kind and helpful. Everything is ...
The hotel is located next to the luxurious Avealer Palace Hotel ( looks like the Plaza Hotel in New York). This area is stunning . Like a previous review stated your staying in one of Buenos Aires upscale and beautiful areas at budget prices. Your 10 minutes to the Recoleta Cemetry, where Evita Peron is buried. Hotel Staff was very nice. Wifi was AWFUL! But otherwise ...
This is a very small hotel with the rooms set up as ‘suites”, i.e., it is like a studio apartment with a small kitchen area. It is located in the heart of the Recoleta neighborhood and that is why I stayed there. II think that 3.5 stars would be an appropriate rating for this little hotel and that only because of its location in proximity to the cemetery, restaurant...
This is a jewel in Buenos Aires! Hidden in the safe, walkable district of Recoleta in BA, the HoJo is unbeatable for the great price. I don't want to write a review because we want to stay here again and don't want to let others know about this place for fear that they would then raise their prices (I hope they don't!). It's clean, sleek, perfectly located, and the...
We stayed for 4 nights in October 2012 and had an enjoyable time. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating especially with helping to find tours or helping with attractions, in our case they even collected a delivery to the hotel for us while we were out sightseeing! The hotel itself was in a nice part of Recoleta. Breakfast was a simple cereals ands toast af...
Great location in the Recoleta at a great rate. Booked several nights and was offered a better deal. Comfortable rooms with heating, a/c, mini fridge and stove. It was great for a week’s stay. One major problem, the bed, a full size bed consist of two twin size beds joined together by a strap. The strap and the division between the beds was uncomfortable and could be f...
We loved the hotel. It´s cosy, very lovely room with the bath in the center of the room - different but cool idea. It´s near the best restaurants and bars. The cementry is not too far away too. Room has free champagne all day and night. If the bottle is empty you get a new one straight away. Room was always clean.
super hotel direkt in recoleta, sehr freundliche personal, tolle zimmer
the hotel staff were very friendly and spoke good english. the room was small, but clean. no frills, just a double bed and bathroom ( fantastic hot showers). the breakfast has been standard in argentina with cereal, bread, croissants (medialunas) and jam. good coffee. the recoleta is a beautiful area of buenos aires and i think this hotel is a decent value for the loca...
I stayed there for one night only. Was impressed how the place was looked after and the attention to details. Check in was smooth and breakfast was ok
Sileo Hotel and staff were excellent in every way. The room had everything we needed and was in an excelent location.
The staff at the hotel were fab. Helped us with directions every morning as we left the hotel. One evening, there even helped us heat up some food we had brought. Special mention goes to receptionist Facundo who helped us deal with an atrocious taxi booking company who left us with the hotel and refused to take our bags. He most professionally tried to work out a solut...

the owners would pay little more attention to what they are actually providing for clients. The building is absolutely beautiful, and in the "superior" rooms you get to stay in what I would describe an original 1920s decor with original bathroom fittings. Yes, they are worn but it does not really matter as everything in this hotel is, nevertheless, these rooms are beau...

Good location one block from Ave Santa Fe. Reasonable size with a small kitchen. Breakfast is delivered to the room, just coffee, juice, coffee, bread and pastries
Great stay; Like all cities BA is more expensive than elsewhere in Argentina. This place was reasonable but good value for money. Very comfy bed and great location. Breakfast was rather repetitive being 3 sweet croisants, coffee and juice served in a nearby cafe. Tasty but too sweet after one or two days. Wonderful stay, recommended.

In one of the beautiful historical parts of the city, on the top floor of a lovely old stone, 7 story building. It is two blocks from a subway station and close to many nice cafes and restaurants too. The boss, Hugo, is very helpful and has no problems getting around any language barrier. He recommended several restaurants and organised a taxi for me - punctual perfec...
