“comfortable stay with room for improvement”
i’d rate my stay a 7/10 overall... first of all, i want to acknowledge the staff for their warm hospitality.. they were attentive and really catered to our needs... parking was a pleasant surprise.. the hotel provided clear directions to the designated area, it was easy to navigate and there were plenty of available spots. parking is free and included with the room rate, which is great but the automated system requires guests to stop by the reception counter before exiting.. while they did remind us during check in, i still feel this is a redundant step that could be improved for a smoother experience.. upon entering the lift, there was a slight musty smell, possibly due to the rainy weather. the room itself was surprisingly spacious with modern decor and a lovely window view overlooking kuching city — definitely a highlight of the stay.. however, cleanliness could be better.. the room felt a bit dusty, and the bedsheets were slightly coarse and dusty as well. the bathroom was decent but the water didn’t drain properly and puddled on the floor which suggests the tiles weren’t installed correctly.. the air conditioner also took quite a while to cool the room which was a bit inconvenient... on the brighter side, the hotel provides access to the gym and pool which is always a plus.. an iron and ironing board are available upon request and the room comes with a tv for added comfort... overall, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable but with some improvements especially in cleanliness, drainage, and the parking system it could have been much better...
