Where to stay in Misamis Oriental
Misamis Oriental hotels & accommodations

We we planning to stay in a different hotel but when we passed by the gold building, we were hypnotized and stayed there instead. We were at the end of our 3-day backpacking adventure in Misamis Oriental. Despite our dusty shoes and crumpled clothes, the staff treated us like kings and queens when we stepped inside the hotel. The place is pricey but it's all worth it...

I was really surprised by the new Sedo Centrio and it's the best hotel I have stayed at in Mindanao. When we checked in, as soon as I said my name the staff was familiar with our reservation and we were going to our room n 5 minutes. The elevator, hallways and room smelled new. The bathroom is very large and very brightly lit with large mirrors for easy shaving. Our r...

I originally booked for 4 days but ended up staying for 20 days. I have stayed in many other hotels in Philippines but by far for the 980 pesos per night, Red Planet is the best value. Main concern which I have with Hotels in Philippines is cleanliness and by far Red Planet is very clean!!! Bed is modern and very comfortable. It is centrally located, less than 5 min ...

One of the most affordable hotel in the city that I can walk to the nearest restaurants and shop that I need to visit for business purpose. Room is big and clean except for the fact that the care kit is subject for request. they have free hair dryer as well. the staff are excellent with good customer service. The aircon is okay. you just need 2 hours before you feel it...

When I think of a hotel with the word Pension in the name this not quite what I had in mind . This was more than I expected. The staff and service was very professional. The only reason I gave 3 stars for the location was that I thought I had booked near the beach. Its in the middle of the city. My mistake. Upon arriving when I told the staff this a very nice woman w...

Location—along the street. Walking distance to sm,ayala and gaisano. (If travelling going to airport, you can use magnum bus in kitkai or oddysey in SM downtown just a few walk from the hotel) Room- was spacious with simple nice design, toiletries provided, fast internet speed. Comfy bed. The pillow was a little odd (maybe its because of the protector). Its quiet and ...

What a fantastic hotel, I always enjoy service with a smile and this hotel did not disappoint me. The staff were fantastic, restaurant doors were always opened for us with a "hello sir, hello mam". When we required a taxi to town they would walk to the road and hail a taxi and when the taxi pulled up the rear door was opened for us. When we returned in the taxi, again ...

The receptionist was polite and fast during our check-in and check-out. They offered to bring up our complimentary breakfast, a first for budget hotels. And if you're a backpacker who is just looking for a place to shower and sleep in, this hotel is perfect - near everything, clean, not sketchy and defenitely worth your money

The hotel just recently opened (Aug 2017) according to one of the staff so there's a few more bugs they need to work out. one of the room that i got had an AC problem and it nearly flooded the room overnight (halfway) but the staff quickly remedied the problem and gave me another room. You have to ask the hotel staff for the basic amenities in the room like bottled wat...

I loved it! It exceeded my expectations ;) when i arrived, i actually thought i was in the wrong hotel. The price was so cheap and yet the hotel looked good. It wasnt a fabulous 5 star hotel but it sure was more than good enough for the price ;) i would certainly book in this hotel again!

When in Cagayan de Oro N hotel is the hotel place to be😍. We booked multiple hotels here and no regrets. The hotel room are nice and cozy and there is enough space in the room. They have recreational pool. Breakfast included too. This is a perfect place from the city buzz and you can go outside the hotel there are fastfoods available outside. Everything is jist fine...

Newly opened. Great location to airport, approx 5 mins. Provides pick up and drop off to airport for 200php. Has restaurant on site. Has mini mart onsite. Provides an ample amount of tours. Newly opened pool which is great to beat the heat. Had a miscommunication with beddings in room, however within minutes the staff rectified tthe issue and provided us ou keys. ...

This is a very nice hotel good value for money and in a good location. Do not pay the walk-in price as it is far more expensive than booking online, about 20% to 25% difference, And as l stayed there for about a week this would have a few thousand dollars , also the superior rooms have a refrigerator which is very nice, the only negative is the fact that many...

Property is well managed. All the staff including the housekeepers have college degrees, most in hotel management. All the staff are exceptionally friendly. Air conditioning is quite capable once the remote control with 5 fan speeds is understood. House keeping is very responsive, usually with in 10 minutes. Never waited for more than 1 minute for a taxi. Hotel ro...

I am travelling for business purposes in cagayan,I have tried many different hotel to stay every time I visit there but the Primavera is exceptional. Why I can say it is the best first I didn't expect that they will literal and respectfully grant all of my special request when I booked on their residence. Second the staff are very accommodating. Third they don't do ove...

as per my family, this is very good hotel because of location it is in cogon area where they can access everything, food, malls, market, schools, hospitals, jeepneys, taxis, cheap stores everywhere.. and the staff are great they have are effecient and just no non-sense.., we are loyal to this hotel

THIS HOTEL WHICH IS GOING THROUGH AN UP-GRADE IS REALLY NICE TO STAY AT, WHAT WITH ATTENTIVE STAFF THAT TRY SO HARD TO PLEASE AND A WELL RUN CLEAN SAFE PLACE FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS TOO. ITS LOCATION RIGHT ON TOP OF THE CLEAN BEACH IS GREAT AND SECURITY IS VERY WELCOME THERE TOO. WE LOVED THE FACT THAT THEY ARRANGED A JET SKI FOR US TO USE FOR AN HOUR OR SO DISPI...

I booked this only a day before my check-in. Booked a single standard room for only P350!! Saw the regular rate at St. Nicholas Inn and it is at P600/night. The staff here are very friendly. I was at room no. 8 at first but wifi can't reach that room so I asked to be transferred to room no. 1 instead where wifi is strong. They agreed and the staff is still smiling. Th...

We enjoyed our 5 day stay. The hotel is new, with dining room on the first floor, and rooftop bar. Include breakfast was good. The rooms are nice and fresh, with good wifi. The beds are very comfortable. Nice, professional staff. We liked to take an exercise walk 1km to Ayala Mall. The Museum of Three Cultures within Capitol University in downtown CDO was great....

One of the best assets of this resort is its 25m lap swimming pool. Not only does it have a fantastic view of the city but it has the best lap pool I've ever been to. It's more like an 8 lane 25 meter (5 feet) Lap pool. It was very clean and they are strict with their rules. I was so excited to do a morning laps that I went there at 5:30 am before the sun rises, but ...

I have stayed at The Kingston Lodge for at least 8 days on different trips and I can state that no other hotel ANYWHERE offers more for the $! Location is ideal because it is “up on the hill” which is the clean part of CDO, it’s off the main road about 100 meters so you hear nothing and it’s only a few minutes walk to many shops and the new SM mall but when your on the...

The place is really good. You wont waste ur money. The wifi signal is good I even worked after our convention. They just need to fix their water supply because sometimes, it goes brown-ish. And sometimes, the signal goes out but only for some time. Over-all, I would give it a 4.5 star out of 5 rating!

Everything about this hotel says style and class. It is clean from the ground up, conveniently located, beautifully appointed, and there is a complimentary breakfast to match anything you will get at the best hotels in the Philippines - and at a nice dining room. Their service is unparalleled, the receptionist spoke perfect English, and was very warm; actually EVERY...

This government-owned resort with professional staff was very pleased place to stay for about two weeks for the following reasons: 1. Nice view to the bay and city from cottage 2. Have small zoo there you can see and feed monkeys, eagles, snakes etc 3. Resort is itself as a botanic garden but also it is an entry point to The National park their you can make half-day t...

Pros: Price is reasonable for a 3 star hotel. Accessible to other establishments Room is spacious, at least the superior room we rented. Bar at the lobby has good entertainment and cheap food and drinks. No need to go out. Mango shake is only P60 in the hotel, in a nearby restaurant, it’s P95. Alcohol is also cheap compared to the food park nearby. Staff is frie...

Stayed 3 nights in the hotel. Dec 29- Jan 1, 2018. Location is superb and room is so big can fit a whole family. The staffs were kind an respectful but endorsing was not well. This hotel is one of the most value for money places I've ever stayed in. The room is relativity spacious, cable TV, warm shower, air condition and complimentary breakfast. The complimentary breakfast isn't bad either. Cheap places to stay in Misamis Oriental

i always check in here whenever i visit CDO primarily because of their location. Near the malls, near 7/11 and cheap transportation, sikad! :) i just wish that all the remote controls are functioning well (there was one booking front desk told me i have no remote for tv because there are no available), and also the last time i checked in, the towel was torn. Also, sma...

After the modern look of the lobby, I did not expect the room to be old-ish. It wasn’t dilapidated or anything. It’s liveable and decent but I expected something more. But I’d still book another stay in this hotel because it is easy on the pockets, and it is also very near to businesses. That is to say, it’s a walking distance to Gaisano and Centrio. And since you’re ...

We were on a bus from Iligan City while looking for a place to stay in CDO. It was a spur of the moment decision to travel from the Zamboanga area to Misamis Oriental, so we were not prepared for the accommodations. We checked on Agoda, and this inn offered a huge discount, so we grabbed the availability, after seeing that the pictures depict a very clean ambience. Whe...

Would recommend this hotel for three or so nights. Modern and clean with nice staff. Only critism is that they appear to have serious IT and internet problems. My first booking failed and in my three day stay the internet never stayed up for more than about 10 to 20 minutes. I assume the two issues are linked. The TV also only had about 6 channels.

I stayed at the Golden Stallion Suites from 4/22/2017 through 4/24/2017. I was in CDO for a wedding and had booked very upscale hotels for my stay, but due to some conventions, they were booked for the first two days of my stay. I looked here in Agoda and found the Golden Stallion and its price was about 1/4 of the others I booked, so I gave it a try. Most taxi driv...

I had an enjoyable stay on this budget accommodation for an affordable price courtesy of Agoda. What I like about this hotel, is that it is very right in the middle of Cagayan de Oro City which makes it a reference point when touring around the city. It is very near the malls and some places of interest in CDO. They are also near in a lot of cafes and restaurants (rest...

Hotel staffs are very accommodating and friendly. I just booked the reservation right there and they were able to confirm it right away. I wasn't able to avail of the free breakfast because I have to leave at 4 o'clock in the morning but it was fine. I could have enjoyed the stay if stayed longer. Anyway, I recommend this hotel to those who wants to visit Cagayan de Or...

We have used this hotel several times and like to go back. The location close to Coastal Highway, next to Limketkai Mall and close to Cogon Market make it very convenient to us. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is not included, but for 89 pesos it is good. We like to sit in the evening at next doors Cham's to drink a beer and watch the street life or walk ro Cogon for...

Before my arrival, I kept in contact with them to make sure that my reservation was reflected in their system. It wasn't but they were more than happy to reserve a room for me. On the day of my arrival, they were very helpful as they allowed me to check in earlier since the room is already free and ready. I met the owner, or manager, I believed. She was really nice an...

Overall my stay was so short that I only got to meet the staff during mornings and evenings because I was out the whole day. But within that short period of time, the owner and the staff were able to accommodate all my queries and needs. Excellent stay. This hotel is owned by the Ayala corporation and is run to international standards by an Ilalian Manager and Rey his Associate who has worked in Makati's finest hotels. The hotel is new, modern and is connected to the large, upscale Ayala Centrio Mall. Staff are service oriented. Breakfast choices for Western guests should be expanded - perhaps an egg s...

Location of the condo unit was beside Ayala Centrio and near SM CDO. It was okay with utensils and small appliances for heating food. The extra bed is actually an extra mattress without any cover. Wifi wasn't working at all or maybe it was just bad reception. Condo staff especially the guards were arrogant and rude, we asked if we could talk to the unit owner to make ...

WE STAYED THERE FOR ALMOST TWO WEEEKS AND THE STAFF WERE SIMPLY FIRST CLASS, THE RESTAURANT MANAGER WAS TOP OF THE LINE AND SO WAS THE FOODS TOO. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR ANYONE, AND WE LOVED HOW THEY ALWAYS REMEMBERED US BY NAME WHICH IS HOW A 5 STAR HOTEL WOULD BE DOING. THE PLACE IS CLEAN, WELL RUN, AND EVEN IF IT'S A LITTLE OLDER THAN MOST HOTELS MIGHT BE...

The unit was clean and very cozy! Its meant for couple though but it has everything like kitchenette and fridge plus the bathroom is good enough not so fancy yet enough for the needs of the travelers! Not so pricey and ptretty close to the mall or shopping centers!Highly recommend for everyone!Just make sure you get bigger unit next time though, other than that stay was a...

The place was clean and big enough for 3 adults and 1 toddler. Originally we were booked at a specific room but was transferred on the day of check in since the owner (i guess) thought, that the original room assigned to us doesn’t have enoigh amenities for 3 adults. Not bad! The only problem i encountered is the parking area but it was understandable simce it is a con...

My kids were disappointed because the pool was under repair and we we're not informed ahead. It was the reason why we choose this condo. In the website, they included the pool as one of the facilities available. I will never go back there. We should have stayed in a hotel where bed linens are of quality.

there are actully grocery items which u can cook or consume just pay it wen u check out, its really cool and the place is very clean, you get to still feel the fresh air for its location is not that close to city’s busy cosmopolitan road that is full of smoke. it is very peaceful and secured. they have thas veru attentive guards on duty 24/7 and the owner is always the...

Excellent value self-contained home in quiet friendly neighborhood. Jollibee nearby. Helpful caretaker lives opposite. Close to the shopping mall in nearby Iponan and Seven Seas Water Park. Close to main highway to the airport. Thanks to the host for excellent accommodation.

The place was clean and spacious and was able to contact owner's representative with ease. But GUARD duty for the parking service was POOR they don't traffic proper car space parking. When we arrived there should be enough space but due to incorrect parking space was wasted. We were ask to park very far and the next early morning we were awaken telling us that we shou...

Host did not email ahead the details of check in. Checking in is very disappointing since we were asked of our room number and we did not know. There is no generator nor emergency light even inside the room. During brown out, you have to provide your own flash light.

We are shocked to find out when we arrive that the unit has been occupied by another couple. There seems to be a connivance between the guard and the unit owner to put the administration in blind with respect to their occupant. And despite the fact that we paid for the cleaning of the room, you have to contact them first before you can have your room cleaned...
