From the moment our car approaching the hotel the hotel staff is coming up to gree us, smooth checking in, valet parking, handling our luggages to each room, showing us the hotel facilities, guiding us to each rooms, showing our point of interests and providing guidance with local map. When we use the hotel mineral hot spring bath pool the staff provide us with bathing suite with very reasonable price for one of our family member did not pack his swim pants. There's one staff at the pool to provide guidance and assistance with towels and drinks that make us the most relaxing family bath experience. But the best is yet to come, after we retire to our room, ready to sleep, I suddenly felt ill due to catching cold while walking over cold ocean water at Mt. St. Michael and ate disagreeable food on the road during the day before arriving hotel. I called house keeping service to bring hot water and 2 extra bath towels to my room. Within 3 minutes, one gentleman brought 2 bath towels to my room, after knowing I felt ill, he adjusted the thermo in my room to make sure I'm in comfortable warm temperature after he left then the second gentleman walked in with set of hot water, he poured and set the hot water table near where I seat after he make sure I'm comfortable then left and closed the door behind him. The kind words and gestures of the night house keeping staffs makes me so grateful. After taking medication I brought from home with me and a good night sleep, I was fully recovered in the morning and able to continue our traveling in UK. From the moment we approaching the hotel until the moment we leaving the hotel, the hotel staffs are always there ready to give assistance. It's this kind of human experiences that makes this place the most uniquely outstanding.

They upgraded our room and while I have no idea what our initial room was supposed to be like, this room knocked us off our feet. If I were to stay there again, no matter the cost I would 100% book this room (or probably any room in the main house as I assume they are all the same). The room was huge and made us feel as if we were royalty. The massive bathroom has a double-headed shower (so two can shower simultaneously), a separate claw-footed bathtub & a tv to watch all while you wash up. The view was gorgeous and the breakfast the next morning was very good. My only regret was that we weren't there longer! Such a relaxing & romantic getaway. (What's also crazy is that I spent far more to stay in tiny hotel rooms while in London than I spent on this room) The only drawback of this hotel is its location. While the scenery was gorgeous, the hotel is not within downtown Bath. Therefore, you will need a car, taxi/uber or utilize the inexpensive bus outside the property to get into town (the latter of which you will need to walk down a long driveway for).

Best apartment that we booked and stayed at bath. Very well equipped room with a full kitchen. The room is very huge with a small corridor connecting the main room and the toilet after the main door. The toilet has a bathtub too. After entering the main room, we felt like home sweet home. The room is with a king size bed, a small living room with a dining/dressing table and there is a door connecting to the kitchen to the back of the main room. As for the kitchen, it is very well equipped with fridge, freezer, dish washer, oven, microwave, kettle... whatever you need in the kitchen, you have it!! Excellent! Love this apartment!! Must book!

I have stayed at the hotel 5 times since 2012 and was surprised that the price was so cheap I bokked for 52 the night before for a room However once I arrived I understood why ! The room we was given was extremely sub standard and poor and look unkept as well as smelling very damp That said once I cpmplained I was moved to a room on the third floor that was what you would expect of a 4 star hotel Finally was disappointed to call room service @9am for some drinks to be told room service was not available The hotel needs to get back some of its original qualities and focus on the important things l Namely given the best Service possible One final point very sad to see you now have to pay to use the gym this was always a wonderful bonus !

The location is a BIG plus - a few minutes walk from the Railway & Bus Station, The Roman Bath, the shopping district. The service was five star and breakfast provided was very good. What we need was there in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside is some noises like furniture being moved above our room like 6am in the morning (Room 117) Nevertheless we will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to friends and travelers.

Wonderful, we were late in the evening, they left the keys out for us with a lovely note explaining everything! They have a dvd collection we could borrow as well down stairs as well as still or sparkling water in the room! It just felt that every tiny detail had been really well thought out and also gave off the impression of a very luxurious hotel dispite only being little in itself! If you have a chance as well take a turn round the beautifully maintained garden! This hotel/ grande house is a twenty minute walk to town, however coming back it is a very steep climb up the hill to come back. It is only a 5 minute £6 taxi ride though ;) We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to any group of friends, couples or eben individuals! Last thing to add is how helpful the staff were, offering personal views, recommendations and advice on how to make the most our time of our time in Bath! Needless to say we loved Bath and Dorian House and will be back :)

Our stay at the Hilton was good. The staff were of various nationalities; on the odd occasion staff didnt know what we were talking about but this was quickly sorted out. One small downside was our first evening meal in Atelier; my Beef Bourginon was dry and tasted like old meat added to the stew mix. We ordered desserts and the wrong items came out. One dessert was the Almond and Pear frangipani tart served with toffee custard (which is custard and a toffee sauce added on top). The custard was served freezing cold and were told that this is how it's always served!!?? Wasn't happy as always like warm puddings. Saving grace for eating at the Atelier was the rest of thes stay our food was brilliant; fresh and nicely cooked. Breakfasts were served hot and cold and a nice variety of items to choose from. Also our children always ate for free. Their menu was brilliant and a had a wide choice. There was also flexibility to amend meals. The menu was set out in different set prices so if you didn't have the option of free meals the prices was really excellent. To work off the food the gym was adequate for your needs. We wished they had a pool on site to relax in. The hotel was central to everything and if you download the Bath app you can navigate around Bath so easily, everything was within walking distance. There is no parking at the hotel except for disable spaces at the front. The hotel is situated above a multi storey carpark and the hotel have a negotiated rate with them to allow you to park. You can unload outside the hotel entrance and then go and park. The stairs to exit the carpark bring you back right outside the hotel. So this is not too much of an inconvenience.

My daughter and I stay the night before a university interview. This is a new business hotel well located for Bristol City Center. Very clean & beds were 4 star hotels standard. We asked for a room away from noise to get a good night sleep. We did fly in from Asia & my girl need to recover. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. They took time to find a good matching room for us. We had a phone call to the room, as well as a follow up at breakfast time to make sure we were happy with our room & stay. I would recommend this hotel for shopping trips or night out in Bristol town. A good clean well located business / functional hotel. Well done Hampton and thank you to all the great friendly reception staffs. If my girl is lucky, this family will definitely return to stay for our visits.

Everything about Bailbrook was wonderful. They made the most of every inch of space that they were allowed to change. This is an historic building so rules constrain what they can do to it. That being said, our room was about 12x12 yet it held 2 twin beds, 2 chairs, a desk, TV and fireplace, had a super bathroom and a closet with a dresser. The common area was comfy and cozy with big overstuffed chairs and couches and a small bar. We spent our first evening in the library which was quiet and welcoming. It is close to downtown without being right in the middle of things. Best of all were the staff, who made you feel at home. Only downside was the water pressure from the shower which was pretty non-existent. All in all a wonderful place to stay!

Cecil Court is a lovely, clean hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of towels and extra pillows provided. The staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is in a great location - less than 15 mins from pretty much everything that Bournemouth has to offer. I booked the hotel as a last minute thing but was not disappointed and will definitely be going back.

We stated in 'Grove Suite', room 2218. We did not expect such a room but we were all very pleased with this. The room is huge,and the bed even bigger! Beds very comfy, bathroom nice and clean. Added extras such as ironing board, iron and turbo hairdryer was appreciated. Only snag would be is that the hot water for the shower takes quite a while to come on. We had to leave water running for around 8 mins to get hot. Seems a shame with so much wasted water. Nevertheless- would definitely recommend this hotel . Lovely views from the terrace bar, and we had good use of the pool and jacuzzi next door in the sister hotel. Also, reception and bar staff very nice and accommodating- my little girl was greeted with a 'Princess pack' which was a nice touch on arrival :) We will be visiting again for sure!

Perfect location though and easy access to city center of bath. Service was great and very helpful. No elevators, wifi, and dining area is closed, but the bar was open and it was fairly cheap. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with a 4 poster bed with lovely bedding, tea and coffee facilities, and there was a bathtub. Over all we had a nice time staying at Red car hotel.

Lovely hotel and service it good. When we book the room from agoda. for double room.. we check in at the hotel. they are upgrade us to the Hendra suite. That it amazing and how the hotel to please for customer to do that so. I can say that this hotel it the best for our holiday to stay overthere. Staff nice to help you and kind to ask you if you need something they get it for you. all i can say i wonderful

This was what it was, cheap room, but great facilities, staff very helpful and friendly, great breakfast, would defiantly stay again, small down points were we started in a room where the twin beds had been joint together, but they weren't level, we mentioned it, they moved our room no trouble, and a couple of discrepancies , 1st room even though bed wasn't great, had a hair dryer, room 2 didn't and every ladies likes the option to pinch the token shampoos and little soaps, there were none of these :) so couldn't swim as didn't bring shampoo :( but that was my fault not theirs, but little complimentary ones would be used!!

Fire on site at 7am meant we could not use the swimming g pool at 10 am, as apparently the fire team would not let them.in the chemical store . Disappointed as we only booked thus hotel due to swimming pool. Staff were lovely. Gave us free coffee, muffins and waived the car park fees . As we had a VW transporter and it would not fit u der car park barrier, they let us park in staff car park . Very li d, friendly & helpful staff..

Excellent hotel. Cannot beat location as right opposite terminal building. Room was excellent with everything you could want and more. Even an iron and ironing board (full size) was very useful as my coat had become very creased on coach. Did not have the breakfast as we were flying very early but noted the cooked breakfast started at 6.00am and buffet at 4.30am. Check in was efficient and staff courteous and professional. Would highly recommend this hotel for early departures from Bristol Airport. Told a lady on our coach about it and she booked in there instead of a b&b 2 miles away she had already booked, said she loved it. Would highly recommend.

The hotel room was clean and spacious we had a double bed and a single bed. The breakfast was brilliant we had a cold option along with a hot option the food was fresh we had toast with avocado, salmon and poached egg. The staff in reception and at breakfast were all very professional and couldn’t do enough. They took our bags and assisted my parents to there room whilst I parked the car. Car park was booked in advanced it cost £11 and was only 3-4 min walk behind the hotel. Location was brilliant we walked around the corner and we were on the main shopping st.

It was good. I booked for a massage and pedicure. I got 20% off. It was very good procedure and she was very nice. I didn't eat on restaurant in evening and preferred the less formal Cafe Bar. My meal was delayed and I was offered a drink on the house. The location to the BIC is perfect as I was going there on my own. The doenside to this lovely hotel is the heat. Its far too warm in there. I had the v windows to my room open. The heating was from the towel rail and I couldn't change it. I could hear others mentioning how hot the were. Two men who complained the yoghurts were out of date were ignored by staff. Tbe receptionist dismissed their complsint. Not good customer service to hear.

the location could be considered far given that Bath is a small place, the hotel could be reached in 10-15mins walk. As we arrived we discovered a bus stop right in front of the hotel heading to train station so it won't be a problem leaving with heavy baggages. We arrived pretty late after 8pm, but the host was still there for us which we appreciated. The room had all we need and comfortable except the hair dryer didn't function. The host made the breakfast for us in the morning and we enjoyed it. When we booked the hotel there wasn't any review for reference which made us doubted, but now I would say the stay was enjoyable and would recommend it to any travellers.

I travelled for business, but also part family visit from Australia. I landed on the Sunday at 5am at Heathrow and headed to the De Vere once if collected my hire car arriving at around 9am. The Indonesian lady who checked me in went above and beyond what I would have expected as I knew my room potentially wouldn’t be ready due to check out times of those already staying. She placed me in a studio room at the far end of the hotel so I would have peace and quiet to sleep and get over my jet lag before my course started on the Monday morning. The room was ready immediately so I didn’t have to wait in the reception with my luggage. My luggage was taken to my room for me by a very polite young male. The room was stunning with a small balcony overlooking the lakes and wooded area. Beautiful hotel, staff are amazing and very helpful and friendly. I had food in the bar which was lovely, and breakfast twice again lovely. Will definitely come again!

We only needed to stop one night and didn't want to stay in a 3-star+ hotel as we were booking in late and leaving early the next morning. The young lady in Reception was extremely pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The room was basic but had everything we needed. It was clean and had a kettle, mugs, hairdryer, and good-quality towels. The heating was efficient and shower good. The bed was comfortable. Food was available but we didn't want to eat as we arrived late. The tv had Freeview channels and a good reception. I've stayed in Ibis budget hotels and this was far, far superiorr. Will stay here again should I be passing this way. Good location for the Cotswolds, Bristol, Wales, London.

I had stayed here before and really enjoyed it. My second visit didn't change my opinion. The rooms are done to a high standard and I have found the whole experience to be quiet and peaceful (I specifically book the basement rooms). The staff couldn't do enough for you. Very friendly reception. Breakfast is served in a wonderfully light room with fresh flowers on the table and the staff are very helpful and attentive. I love staying at The Edgar and I would most definitely stay there again.

Appreciate this is a more budget type hotel but it would have been nice to have had a restaurant for evening meals to save going out. There was a snack menu with pizza etc on it but not the same as having a proper restaurant but I guess that is what a Hampton hotel is about. Really nice room with view over beach from the 5th floor, great shower, everything you needed in a room including a safe. Really comfortable beds. May be another choice of eggs at breakfast rather than just scrambled egg but there was plenty of choice other than that.

The Hilton in Bournemouth was good and decent. Location is excellent and breakfast was great. Rooms are spacious. The only thing that I didn't like was the car park. It costed us £10 per day (or £13 for the weekend). There is also no direct access to the hotel. You have to walk outside in order to get to the hotel entrance. We had two heavy luggages with us and it was wet and windy. It was pretty bad experience for us. You can park cheaper at the Winter Garden council car park next to the hotel.

A beautiful old house, which could potentially be a fantastic hotel, I stayed in a very nice suite no 28 The Drawing Room. A lot of money has clearly been spent furnishing the hotel and rooms , however my stay was spoiled slightly by some small but annoying details. However to really be a luxury establisment these small details are important. Firstly the windows in my room were all stuck shut, with no other form of ventilation in the room I contacted the front desk, who seemed aware of problem. The hotel clearly had not fixed the windows and was happy to let paying customers stay in the room despite the problem. The desk staff, I also have to say, were not particularly apologetic about the situation, the hotel was fully booked so I could not be moved to another room, and their attitude was basically "yes we know there's a problem..tough.." The double bed in the suite seemed to be smaller than the original bed which the headboard and bedside light switches were designed for, as a result you can not reach the bedside light switches while in bed....details again small, but annoying.... Plastic flowers in the bathroom, I think a luxury hotel should have fresh flowers or no flowers at all. The restaurant is in a beautiful large room, the walls are adorned with oil paintings, which you could imagine are the part of the art collection of the houses original owners (I not sure if this is actually the case).. However in the midst of this grandeur, each table, instead of having a little tea light candle in a glass, has a cheap looking fake battery powered plastic candle shaped light in a glass... Honestly how much does a tea light candle cost!! Details!! The food was I have to say was disappointing.. Although the restaurant staff were much more attentive than the desk staff were....

We stayed for one night and booked online. Very warm welcoming from all on reception and the location was great. We stayed in a double room and it was spotless with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well equipped and we will be booking here again as always travel for work. P.s : the only thing missing was a couple of biscuits for the tea. Please get some in as everyone loves to dunk a biscuit .

My mom and I travelled to Bath for one night and came across Bay Tree House. The room suited all our needs and had tea and biscuits en suite. We arrived past normal check-in but it was really easy to gain access to the apartment and park in vicinity to the place. The breakfast in the morning was superb and the best we had while in England. Everything was exceedingly fresh! The only minor issue we had was how the room was stuffy. If a fan was put in it would have been perfect!

From arrival to departure, you were made to feel incredibly welcome. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Apsley House. The Staff are friendly and helpful, the room and grounds were spotless, we wanted for nothing, even Molton Brown Bodywash, Handwash and Shampoo were provided, tea, coffee, etc were replenished daily too. I currently need to follow a strict diet, I advised the hotel in advance and they were more than happy to accomodate me. They even asked me to send a list of what I can eat, they went out especially to purchase the exact same brand too. At the end of our stay, they even gave me the leftover cereal to take home! Don't hesitate booking, may be a little more expensive than other options, but you won't regret it!
