"I loved my 3-night stay at the Lemon Apartments in San Telmo It's a hidden gem. There's nothing on the building exterior to inform new arrivals that you are about to enter a hip, well appointed building. The staff greeted me warmly, checked me in fairly quickly and informed me of things to see / do in the neighborhood. On the same floor as reception, there is a seating area, a cafe type area with 24-hour coffee service, and a patio and pool. It felt like an oasis right off of the busy streets of San Telmo. My apartment was huge for one person, and very clean. The bedding was comfortable, and the shower and hot water was very welcome after staying at other, lesser quality places in the region. My balcony overlooked the backside patio and pool, and during most of my stay is was quiet and serene. Only on my first night -- a Friday -- there was some noise (voices mostly) from the hostel next door that went on past 11pm. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay! I will be back!"

"Pros - Excellent location in the heart of San Telmo. Staff helpful and friendly. Beds private with USB slots and shelf. Good WiFi. Negs - Shower room is a space struggle, like playing Tetris. Sneaky percentage added when paying by card, this is not common place in Argentina. Breakfast is offered at a price, ample, but offered free elsewhere in country. Kitchen is incredibly small for the amount of guests. "

"I like the San Telmo area which is full of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself has nice interior design and decor. The room (on the first floor, not sure about others) has high ceiling but the corner of the room next the bathroom is worn out/ not in good condition. I like that there are towels for body, hand, and the floor mat as well as black out curtains. Moreover, staffs are nice and helpful."

"My favourite hostel in BA. I stayed in a dorm with an ensuite, it wasn't cramped, everyone had plenty of space/air. Definitely a cut above the rest, which explains the price (that said, I rate Portal del Sur which is cheaper than this one and is clean, safe and great). If you're a GoT fan, you can watch it on the Circus Hostel tv (they have HBO) on Mondays. The place just felt modern, clean, spacious, etc, so if you're wanting to stay in a nice place after doin the rounds of hostels during your trip, but don't have the money to stay in a hotel, I'd comsider this place. It doesn't have a kitchen area that you can use, but there are plenty of good eateries around about the place. I stayed here twice because I rated it."
