Where to stay in San Telmo
San Telmo hotels & accommodations

My favourite hostel in BA. I stayed in a dorm with an ensuite, it wasn't cramped, everyone had plenty of space/air. Definitely a cut above the rest, which explains the price (that said, I rate Portal del Sur which is cheaper than this one and is clean, safe and great). If you're a GoT fan, you can watch it on the Circus Hostel tv (they have HBO) on Mondays. The place j...

Have only spent 2 nights but it was highly enjoyable. What was the most remarkable is the location - right on the main San Telmo square of Plaza Dorrego- which is the reason I booked it , and secondly the amazing staff at reception especially Marcos and Ender m. Super friendly, helpful and professional. Very impressive. Will for sure book again

The Piedras Suites Hotel was the perfect solution for three people. The couple was able to stay "upstairs" and have its own bathroom, while the third person stayed on the sofa-bed and had access to his own bathroom and shower. We didn't use the kitchen area much except for aperitifs, but it was nice to know that we could do so if needed. The balcony was useful for t...

Pros - Excellent location in the heart of San Telmo. Staff helpful and friendly. Beds private with USB slots and shelf. Good WiFi. Negs - Shower room is a space struggle, like playing Tetris. Sneaky percentage added when paying by card, this is not common place in Argentina. Breakfast is offered at a price, ample, but offered free elsewhere in country. Kitchen is inc...

I like the San Telmo area which is full of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself has nice interior design and decor. The room (on the first floor, not sure about others) has high ceiling but the corner of the room next the bathroom is worn out/ not in good condition. I like that there are towels for body, hand, and the floor mat as well as black out curtains. Moreove...

We really enjoyed our time at Hostel Carlos Gardel. We arrived at night and a representative met us out on the street and showed us to our room, as it was late they said we could do the proper check in in the morning which we appreciated. The staff are very friendly, the receptionist spoke very good English. Our room was very nice, quiet, comfortable and cozy. October ...

When arriving, the stuff helped me with whatever i needed. the ambient is homey and young. The toilet are always clean and the kitchen as well. The beds are comfi, and my room was cleaned daily. I had hot water in the shower, good shower. Strong wifi. Great location, one of the best places ive stayed in

I loved my 3-night stay at the Lemon Apartments in San Telmo It's a hidden gem. There's nothing on the building exterior to inform new arrivals that you are about to enter a hip, well appointed building. The staff greeted me warmly, checked me in fairly quickly and informed me of things to see / do in the neighborhood. On the same floor as reception, there is a seatin...
