"Linthwaite House is a lovely hotel in stunning grounds. Spotlessly clean interior of hotel and our room( except for a stain on the carpet of our room) Strict covid precautions in place so we felt very safe. Plenty of very attentive staff. Be aware that only a small amount of hanging space for clothes in our room (18) & only long enough for jackets/shirts but not for anything longer e.g. a dress.First morning staff 'lost' our cooked breakfast order & had to wait 30 mins for it by which time pot of tea was cold & asked for another pot but didn't arrive so gave up! Although wished a 'Happy Anniversary' a complimentary drink would have been nice! Food overpriced ? London prices have reached the Lakes!"
