“Great Location, Bad Timing”
The hotel is in a great location to George Square, 1 minute walk. Unfortunately, with high tourist season and other large functions going on (Pride, motorcycle convention), it also means an increase in hotel prices that are nearly 2 1/2 times the normal rate and can be very difficult to find a decent room. It also means gone are the days of free breakfasts for your family. Shelling out £10-£14 per person. Family of 5 forced out to find food elsewhere. The only big complaint I have is when first arriving in the room and went to the bathroom, the toilet wasn't cleaned! A massive smear of feasies was on the bowl and nearly made me barf. It was immediately reported to the front desk with a picture and a call was made to have it cleaned. An apology was given, but nothing was offered as their way to make up for the embarrassment. Try giving a free breakfast to start!!
